RARE LEONBERGER BIS

GCH CH A Feiner Eros

Earlier we told you that we had a rare Beauceron BIS in Monroe WA on Saturday. That was preceded by a rare Leonberger BIS in Concord NC at the Greater Monroe Kennel Club show. Judge Gary Basset picked GCH CH A Feiner Eros out of a seven that included the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Over The Legal Limit, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Tashtin’s Lookin for Trouble, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Cumhil Hell Raiser, his RBIS, the Pug, GCH CH Hill Country’s Tag I’m It, the Standard Poodle, Hillwood Dassin Ouspenskaya, and the Briard, GCH CH Majestique Brave Heart.

It was the sixth BIS in 11 final appearances this year for Odin and handler Cheryl Cannon. Odin is one of only two Leonbergers to win a BIS since the breed’s recognition 2010. He holds the current breed record with seven career BIS.
