MONDAY MORNING MOP UP

GCH CH Skyline's Unit of Measure

We start our Monday Morning Mop Up where we left off, in Helena MT where the Gallatin Dog Club and the Helena Montana Kennel Club set up camp for four days this past week.  You may recall we told you that the Keeshond, GCH CH Skyline's Unit of Measure, was judge Marion Dee ward’s BIS at the GDC opener.

GCH CH Mojo's Continuation Of A Myth

Cubit would return to the final ring at Friday’s GDC encore to plead his case with judge Carol Graham.  He was joined by the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade Pay It Forward, the Black & Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Southchase's Wilbert Roy, the Akita, GCH CH Mojo's Continuation Of A Myth, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J'Cobe Broxden Accidentally On Porpoise, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Rocket Power, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Copper Hills No Reservations.

The Akita, Nik, would take the BIS, while Cubit would add an RBIS to his tally.   It was the seventh BIS of the year for the nation’s Number Nine Working Dog.

The HMKC took over on Saturday and put judge Jon Cole in the final ring with Nik, Cubit, the returning Field Spaniel, Coonhound, & Australian Shepherd, the Glen of Imaal Terrier, GCH CH Finnabair Ardmore Ned, and the Pekingese, GCH CH Dunkirk Imagine That.  Judge Cole would also like Cubit and Nik, Naming the Keeshond his Best and the Akita his Reserve.  Cubit is the country’s Number Three Non-Sporting Dog with four BIS this season.

GCH CH Promenade Pay It Forward

Judge Anne Katona would bring it home on Sunday for the HMKC  with the now familiar Field Spaniel, Akita, Shih Tzu, Keeshond, & Australian Shepherd, the 13” Beagle, CH Cherry Creek Tattletale, and the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CH Dytona VIP.  Taking home the set’s last big rosette was the Field Spaniel, Gideon, while Cubit would pick up another reserve ribbon for his collection.  Gideon is the Number Three Sporting Dog with 13 BIS in 2014.
