A VERY GOOD START

GCH VJK-Myst Garvonit a California Journey

In SOCAL (that’s Southern California for you guys who don’t know the Golden State) fanciers gathered in Valley Center for the Cabrillo Kennel Club’s two shows. The seven dogs judge Sandy Wheat saw in Saturday’s final were the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH VJK-Myst Garvonit a California Journey, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Walmar-Solos IOU, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Ogee Saltus Ze Zahrabske, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Roundtown Everyday Magic Of Maryscot, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Blackswan Rising Star Forget Me Not, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Major Leagues Mighty Joe At Winsome, and the Australian Shepherd, Bayoulands Before The Storm.

GCH CH Ogee Saltus Ze Zahrabske

Best went to the GSP, CJ, Reserve to the Schnauzer, Ogee. It was CJ’s very first outing as a special. That’s what we call a very auspicious debut. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Valerie Nunes-Atkinson, breeder/owner Yvonne Hassler, co-breeder Anita Weiss, and owner Alice Manning.
