GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire

The country’s top three dogs, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect, and the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, are all in Valley Center KS for this weekend’s biggest entry, the Sunflower Cluster.

GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse

Friday was hosted by the Wichita Kennel Club and our top three all joined judge Gene Blake in the final ring with the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Telltale American Ride, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Farao Anubis Inferno, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Tontine’s Chance Redemption, and the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Déjà vu I Want’a Talk About Me.

Judge Blake chose the Number Three Dog, the Poodle, Flame, as his BIS and the Number One Dog, the Portie, Matisse, as his RBIS.    Flame now has 12 BIS and 28 Non-Sporting Groups.  Flame and handler Sarah Perchick have collected 12 BIS and 28 Group Ones this year, but still trail the two leaders by nearly 25,000 points.    We wouldn’t count her out just yet.
