CH Houla’s Potter

History was made at Sunday’s Galveston County Kennel Club show in Houston TX when the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, CH Houla’s Potter, became the first of his breed to win an AKC Best In Show.

GCH CH Riverside Telltail Coco Posh

Dr Carol White Moser picked Potter out of a lineup that included the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Ehrenvogel Achy Breaky Heart, the Mastiff, GCH CH Willow Ridge Risky Business, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Kelwyn’s GM Freestyle Flyer, the Affenpinscher, CH Champagne Charly V Tani Kazari, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Kennedy’s Bumble Bee, and Dr Moser’s RBIS, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Telltail Coco Posh.

Potter has had our attention since he took the RBIS in Lubbock last October, the only RBIS ever awarded to a Podengo. Congratulations to breeder/owner Carol Houlihan, owner Katherine Sullivan, and handler David Williams.

  1. Hi:
I think there is something wrong here: you put a German Shepherd and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi in the same final.
    Is this posible?

  2. Beast in Show, eh? I know it's a typo, but it made me chuckle.
I saw this dog at the show - he IS "all that" - well deserving of the BIS award.
