GCH CH Goldsands Columbus

The Maury County Kennel Club of Tennessee and the Clarksville Kennel Club always draw top notch competition and this past week’s four shows were proof of that.  It all began on Thursday when judge Joe Gregory’s final included the Parti-Colored Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Conquest's This Is It!, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded, the Boxer, GCH CH Hi Tech The King of Sherry Shoot Jp, the Russell Terrier, GCH CH Goldsands Columbus, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogelflight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the Cordmaker Topsy Turvey.

The Russell, Bosse, took the BIS and the MinPin, Classie, grabbed the RBIS.   Bosse is the Number Two Terrier and the Number Seven Dog All Breeds with 19 BIS and 79 Terrier Groups this year.

Judge Janet Sinclair had the big Saturday final and her pick of the previously seen Black Cocker Spaniel, Saluki, Boxer, Russell, MinPin, Tibbie, and Puli.  Finishing one/two were the Boxer King, and Bosse, the Russell.  King and handler Diego Garcia now have five BIS & 26 Working Groups to their credit this year.

Sunday’s closer found judge Norman Patton in the final ring with the now familiar Black Cocker, Saluki, Portie, Russell, MinPin, & Puli and the Lhasa Apso, Ta Sen Westgate On A High.  Classie, the MinPin, would get the set’s last big rosette.  Wishing you got extra points for a Reserve was Bosse, the Russell.  Classie is AKC’s winningest Miniature Pinscher of all times with 102 career BIS.
