His Best was the Afghan, Wally, and his reserve was the
Sheltie, Satoshi. We haven’t heard
much from Wally since February of last year
when he picked up a BIS in Indianapolis. The KCKC win is his first of 2013. Congratulations
to breeders/owners Jay Hafford & James Blanchard, and owners Debbie Rogers
& JW Rogers.

The Sheltie, Satoshi, would be the only of Saturday’s finalists
to make it back to Patti Widick Neale’s BIS ring. He was joined by the Golden Retriever, CH
Quailwood's Outta The Park Grand Slam, the Whippet, GCH CH Fanfare's Cordova At
Runners, the Boxer, CH Daybreaks Bad Influence, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH
Allaruth Just Kidding V Sole Baye, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Quail
Garden Loch Lomond Déjà vu, and the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge
Encore.
And it would be Satoshi taking home the big rosette. The Schnauzer, Justin, picked up the
Reserve. Satoshi has showed great
promise since winning back2back BIS in Portland in January. This was his fourth BIS this season.
