One place we have not visited this week is Houston TX where
the hometown kennel club & the Galveston County Kennel Club hosted two
shows this past weekend. Saturday’s
final had Col Joe Purkhiser in the final ring with the Irish Setter, GCH CH Militza's
Glamorous Attire, the Greyhound, GCH CH GrandCru Caymus, the Doberman Pinscher,
Horizon's Viva Las Vegas, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Fortune
Forward, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Lohona Zephyr I Can't Look Away, the Bichon
Frise, GCH CH Saks Winning Card, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony
Hills Money Talks.
GCH CH GrandCru Caymus
His BIS was the Irish Setter, Ty, and his RBIS was the
Greyhound, Caymus. It’s the first BIS of
the year for TY and handler David Harper.
Congratulations to David, breeders/owners Roger & Tracy McNeal &
Kenneth Wall & Dr Joel Fisher DVM, co-breeder N Godbey, and owners Bruce
& Mary Foote..
GCH CH Jade East Do You Know The Way To San Jose
Sunday the GCKC took over and gave BIS judge Sonny Ambrosio a mostly new
seven, the English Springer Spaniel, Hil-N-Don & Canyonwood Seemore Of Me,
the Saluki, CH Issibaa's Goinforthe Gold, the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, GCH
CH Derby's Toast with Gusto, the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody N Cherub's Oh So
Henry, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East Do You Know The Way To San Jose,
and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s Tails of Mystery.
Best went to the Shar-Pei, Jose, while the Saluki, Sammy,
picked up the Reserve. It’s Jose’s first
BIS of 2013 in nine visits to the final ring.
Congratulations to breeders/owners Loretta Anders & Karel Nijholt
& Esmae Minne, and handler David Williams.
