The big numbers this weekend are out in Puyallup WA, 35
miles due south of Seattle. The Tacoma
Kennel Club brought more than 2200 dogs to the opener.
GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration With Traddles
Dr Steve Keating’s final seven included many of 2012’s top
dogs, the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration With Traddles, the
Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the Giant Schnauzer, CH Lowdown's
Remys Girl v. Ardenhout, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the
Sky, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Dejavu I Want'a Talk About Me, the Standard
Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Beauceron, GCH CH De Joie Du
Chateau Rocher.
Topping the big entry was the smallest among them, the
Chinese Crested, Toby. Reserve went to
the Clumber, Seymour. Toby was the
Number One Chinese Crested in 2012 with four BIS. Congratulations to breeders Karla Matlock,
Ann Freeman, & Sharon Jacobson, owners Roy & JoAnn Kusumoto, and
handler Tammy Miyagawa.
