GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Miney Moe

With 40 all breed shows to cover in our Monday Morning Mop Up is an ambitious undertaking.  Let’s start in Columbus OH where several of our top dogs gathered, including the Number One Dog All Breeds, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm.  Oakley and handler Phil Booth would end the four day stint with two Bests In Show, and two Reserve Best In Shows

At Friday’s Dayton Kennel Club Tom Hale preferred Oakley and the above named Russell Terrier over the Basset, Tiger, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Jaroe Legend Of Irish Spirit, the Japanese Chin, GCH CH Pem We-Syng Lucky Mi, the Chinese Sahr-Pei, GCH CH Shine's Deck The Halls, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Shadyrock Dancing Doll.

Saturday Oakley would take the RBIS at the Lima Kennel Club show behind the aforementioned American Eskimo Dog, Inuk.  Rounding out Judith Daniels’ final were the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH J's Starbarrack's Babybug's Devil of a Bug, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol's Veni Vidi Vici, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful, the Havanese, CH Marcosa's Slip Slidin' Away, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Spiritwood's Gandalf The Blue.

It’s the first AKC BIS this year for Inuk who has the enviable distinction of winning the breed at the Westminster Kennel Club show for four consecutive years.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Sharon Robertson and handler Graeme Burdon.

Oakley would be back on top on Sunday followed by the Reserve winner, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder, the Greyhound, GCH CH Arghandab Sacred Dance At Ceber JC Sacred Dance At Ceber JC, the previous day’s Doberman, FiFi, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Gordon’s Bite of the Apple, the same Havanese, and the Eskie, Inuk.

  1. Oakley won TWO, Bassett Hound won the First, The Am Eskimo won the Third , Oakley went reserve those days

  2. I believe that the basset was bis the first day and that the wirehair was reserve

  3. Tiger Basset Hound was BIS at Sandusky KC, Oakley GWP was Reserve BIS, not as reported!

  4. Our congratulations to Tiger & Brian. Sorry about the confusion. The report has been corrected.
