GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction

I’m back in my hotel room nursing my tired feet and cramped fingers in order to get out all our show reports. Here in Oklahoma City, we saw several BIS winning dogs go down to defeat in the breed or survive the breed only to get walked out of the group. The most dramatic face off was in the Sporting Group where 2011’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, would face off with 2012’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm. The Cocker, Beckham, would prevail today while the GWP, would return to his set up with a Group Two.
In Nickki Riggsbee’s final, Beckham would face the Basenji, GCH CH Ahmahr Nahr’s Los Angel Gabriel. The Great Dane, GCH CH Lobato’s Code Red\, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Fortune Forward, the Yorkshire Terrier, GCH CH Linshire’s Rolling Stone, the Schipperke, GCH CH Dante’s Fire When Ready HOF, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Quiche’s Grand Finale. Beckham finished the day with his 24th all breed Best of the year and his career 115th. Do I see another record on the horizon?
