STEEL CITY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Sporting Field‘s Bahama Sands

Ourt next stop is in Crown Point IN, the only Great Lakes destination for dog fanicers this weekend.  Kent Delaney had the Steel City Kennel Club’s day one final and his pick of the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s ripsnorter Silver Charm, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field‘s Bahama Sands, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Blackhawk Finnegan's Wake, the White Bull Terrier, CH Imperials Truth Hurts, the Pug, GCH CH Riversong's Doc Holiday, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Chaoyang’s Take It To The Limit, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv’s Gambolon Blue Thunder.

Best went to the Whippet, Tawny.  It’s the fifth this year for Tawny & Amanda Giles.  We love this photo of Tawny with her favorite toy.

CH Imperials Truth Hurts

Sunday Desmond Murphy would see Tawny & the same GWP, Bull Terrier, Pug, & Shar-Pei along with the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Heiress HSAs.  It was the Bull Terrier, Asajj, picking up her first all breed Best in grand style against six multi-BIS winners, including the country’s Number One & Number Two Dogs, not a win to soon be forgotten!  Congratulations to breeders/owners Jake & Heather Jones, co-breeder Chuck Nelson, and owner Marcy Bakus.
