SAN ANTONIO TX 2 & 3

GCH CH Alpine’s Ring of Fire

One of our favorite cities in the US is San Antonio TX where dog fanciers have been enjoying four all breed shows this week.  You can read all about Thursday’s Kennel Club Of Greater Victoria here.  The KCGV’s day two show ended Friday with Darryl Vice in the final ring with the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Ring of Fire, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Tamarin Topper, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog Bayou’s The Warrior, and the smooth Collie, Cayuga’s Isle of Hope.

His Best was the AmStaff, Phoenix.  It’s the first BIS this year for Phoenix, who had two BIS in 2011.  Congratulations to breeders Ed & Karen Thomason, Dan Nechemias & Lois Claus, owners Jennifer Mosing &  Ed & Karen Thomason, and handler Brian Livingston.

On Saturday, the hometown San Antonio Kennel Club took over and asked Vincent Chianese to choose a Best In Show from five of Friday’s finalists and the Standard Poodle, CH Alzia's Blacktie Broadway Premiere, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hill’s Money Talks.  He chose the Boxer, Macey.  It was the second of the weekend for Macey and handler Michael Shepherd and their fifth of 2012.  That’s just one less than they had for all of 2011.  Looks like it’s a gonna be a good year for M&M.
