FOUR DAYS IN HATTIESBURG MS

GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker

Our Monday Morning Mop Up today will start here in the South where the Greater Hattiesburg Kennel Club & the Meri-Miss Kennel Club teamed up for four shows this past week.  The GHKC opened it on Thursday and asked Jim Briley to choose a BIS.  His options were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Eagleridge's Return From Bombay, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH K-Run Lanbur The Truth All around, the Samoyed, GCH CH Polar Mist Cruz’n T’Party at Zamosky, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Ring of Fire, the Pug, GCH CH Riversong's Doc Holiday, the GCH CH Riversong's Doc Holiday, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.  Day one belonged to the Standard Poodle, Thomas, his second of the year. 

GCH CH Royalist Ready To Reign

Friday took over for the MMKC and greeted Thomas, the above named OES, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Brookwood Diamond In The Ruff, the Whippet, Snow Hill Beatrix Soul Delight JC, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH Snow CH Kenro's Witching Hour, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J'Cobe Broxden Danea, and the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Royalist Ready To Reign.  Her BIS was the Toy Spaniel, Dash.  It’s the first this year for Dash who finished last season with Four big rosettes and 15 toy Group top prizes.  Congratulations to breeder Christina Van Patten, owners Doug Johnson, Jeane Haverick, Jamie & Wayne Hubbard, & Jacqui Rifenberg, and handler Scott Sommer.

GCH CH Karasar's Rememberence

Saturday it was the GHKC’s & judge Don Rogers’ turn to pick a Best In Show.  His lineup included aforementioned Giant, AmStaff, Toy Spaniel, & OES, the Brittany, GCH CH Dual Lane's Cam JH, the Whippet, GCH CH Karasar's Rememberence, the Tibetan Spaniel, Shilo Here for a Good Time.  His Best was the Whippet, Britanee, her first.  Britanee is Kerrie Kupper’s ninth breeder/owner/handled Whippet to win a BIS.  Congratulations to Kerrie, co-breeders Neil Barthelette, Karen Mlynar & M Alderman, and owners Neil Barthelette, Manuel & Azalea Alvarez & Karen Mlynar.

GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style

Dr Steve Keating closed the set with the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Cajun's A Change Is Gonna Come, the Whippet, Britanee, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the previously named AmStaff, the Toy Spaniel, Dash, the Schipperke, GCH CH Dante’s Fire When Ready HOF, and the OES making his fourth final appearance.  It was the Boxer, Macey, taking home the last big rosette of the set.  Macey & handler Michael Shepherd are off to a good start this year with three BIS already on their 2012 resume.
