FREDERICKSBURG VA DAY ONE

Pequest Devon

Our first all breed show of the week is complete.  Today’s Northern Neck Kennel Club Of Virginia is the first of five shows at the Fredericksburg Expo & Convention Center in that Virginia town.  Dr Richard Greathouse’s seven finalists were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summit’s Emery It’s in the Bag, the American Foxhound, CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, the Irish Terrier, GCH CH Laochragh’s Clancy, a Pekingese from the Bred By Exhibitor class, Pequest Devon, the Miniature Poodle, GCH CH Surrey Sugar Baby, and the Bearded Collie, CH Briarpatch Just One Look HT.

One of the best things about shows in January is we meet many fresh faces in the ring.  One of those fresh faces the Peke, Devon, an 18 month old dog, was today’s Best In Show winner.  Bred, owned, & handled by Pekingese master, David Fitzpatrick, this fresh face is destined to become a familiar face.  A big congratulations to David.
