The ten show, eleven day, Florida Marathon got underway today in Brooksville FL with the Manatee Kennel Club show.  The show was chockablock full of BIS winning dogs, but the seven who made it to Kenneth Falconi’s final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor High Flyin Gladiator, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Perrisblu Kennislain’s Chelsey, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Dalarno Nite Song At Morningstar.

Today’s BIS was Florida resident, the MinPin, Classie.  Classie gets the big head start on the field with a win worth 1500 points.  Classie and owner/handler Armando Angelbello almost made it to the Top Ten Dogs All Breeds last year, finishing Number 12 with 21 all breed Bests and 73 Toy Groups.  Congratulations to Armando, breeder Carole Ann Mohr-Rio, and owner Leah Monte.
