GCH CH Jadems Oliver Twist
The Canadian Valley Kennel Club & the Town and Country Kennel Club treated fanciers to yet another four show venue in Chickasa OK this week. Doris Werdermann had the day one final for the CVKC and a lineup of the Pointer, GCH CH Penpoint In Dress Blues, the Basenji, GCH CH Signet Meisterhaus Gossip Girl , the Mastiff, GCH CH Jadems Oliver Twist, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Ring Of Fire, the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody’s Regarding Henry, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, the Belgian Tervuren, CH Tacaras Racelon Rembrandt.
First in with a big rosette was the Mastiff, Oliver. Oliver’s tenth final appearance resulted in his first all breed BIS. At just two years old, this one will just get better. Congratulations to breeder/owner Tina M Woods, owner Jaye Berning, and handler Pamela Gilley.
Daniel Smyth was in the final ring at the CVKC’s Friday show with the Akita, GCH CH Sherob Stardust It Had To Be You, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Skyscot’s Texas Hold'Em, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star At Shirmont, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje’s Miss Jayne Hathaway, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Enchanted’s American Thunder.
His BIS was our newest DOG2WATCH, the Norwich, Decker. Decker now has three all breed Bests, all within the last five weeks. We seen fast starts, but this guy acts like he was shot out of a cannon.
The TCKC took the field on Saturday and put Paula Hartinger in the final ring with Decker, and the previously mentioned Bichon & Tervuren, the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Terje Exls Seduction In Lace, the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH Raydachs Playing With Fire V Gleishorbach SW, the Bullmastiff, CH Sumertym Southwind Magic Carpet Ride, and the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Flashfires Frozen Asset.
She would give the nod to the nation’s Number Ten Dog All Breeds, the Bichon, Drummer. It’s his 24th of the year and his third this month.
Dr Ronald I Spritzer had the closer and his pick of the above named Dachshund, Norwich, Bichon, & Maltese, the Flat-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Beacon’s Jesse James II, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Precious Gems Clark Kent RE, and the Smooth Collie, GCH CH Traveler’s Pierce Arrow.
The Dachshund, Cinders, took home the set’s final prize. It’s the first BIS for the nation’s Number One Wirehaired Dachshund. Congratulations to breeders/owners James & Maria Sakoda, co-breeders Jessica Smith & Shirley Ray, and handler Cheri J Koppenhaver.
