Working our way back toward the east, we stop in Boise ID to give you reports on Friday’s & Sunday’s shows.  You can find a report on Thursday’s Lizard Butte Kennel Club show here and on Saturday’s Idaho Capital City Kennel Club here.

The remaining two shows belonged to the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steele Your Heart.  Friday’s day two LBKC show had Clay Coady pondering a choice among the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Redbone Coonhound, CH Eskai‘s Sir Kasper, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Goarrhein Chateau Palos Shiraz, the Wire Fox, Eira, the Pekingese, GCH CH Windemere's Dusting Of White At Pevyne, the Schipperke, GCH CH Bonchien Mr Monopoly, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH C-Myste Baledwr Free to Disagree.

On Sunday, it was the day two show of the ICCKC and Francine Schwartz choosing Eira over the Golden Retriever, GCH Summit’s It’s In The Bag, the previously mentioned Coonhound, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Caryola’s Antigua, the above named, Peke, the American Eskimo Dog, GCH CH Silveroaks First & Foremost, and the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Sky Acres Flying Solo.

Eira and handler Gabriel Rangel have been on a roll these past few months and now have 14 BIS, nine of which have come in the last six weeks.

  1. Is this enough to make the Wire the New #1 Terrier?

  2. The Smooth Fox, Adam, was up almost 3000 points at the start of the week and he won a BIS as well this past weekend. So I suspect he is still on top. We'll have new numbers on Wednesday.
