GCH CH Waybroke Broxden Turning Tanner

Many of the Great Lakes exhibitors were in Marshall MI this week for four shows with the Jaxon Kennel Club, the Sturgis Kennel Club, & the Berrien Kennel Club.    Check our Archives for results on Friday’s & Saturday’s JKC shows.

Saturday’s SKC final was judged by Andrew Mills.  He chose his Best from the English Setter, CH Editions Pursuit Of Happiness, the winner of both of the JKC events, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queen Armada SL, the Boxer, GCH CH Boca's Royal Palms Splish Splash, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Waybroke Broxden Turning Tanner, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Austin Powers, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker, and the Smooth Collie, CH Traveler's Pierce Arrow.

BIS was the Smooth Fox, Tanner.  That’s number four for Tanner and breeder/owner/handler Amy Booth.

CH Bayshore Georgio Armani

Sunday’s BIS call fell to John Medeiros who had his pick of the Smooth Fox, Tanner, the above named Dachshund, Boxer, & Shih Tzu, the Golden Retriever, CH Highlight's A Million Comments, the Xoloitzcuintli, CH Bayshore Georgio Armani, and the Puli, GCH CH Moonshadow Rongyos Kis Medve.

He made history by awarding the first AKC Best In Show to a Xoloitzcuintli.  The Xolo, Armani, is also the first of the AKC’s 170th breed to win a Non-Sporting Group.  Congratulations to breeder/owner J Frank Bayliss, owners Lynda Hylton & Traci Johnson, and handler Gwen DeMilta.
