FROM CANADA TO THE GULF

Antoine's Restaurant
A New Orleans Institution for 170 Years

These past few weeks exhibitors in the Northeast have enjoyed lots of shows with lots of points, but will have to settle for just three shows.  However, the rest of the nation gets multiple options.

The Pioneer Valley Kennel Club will do one show, on Saturday, .in Greenville MA.  Sunday most exhibitors will head for Keene NH, 30 miles north, for the Cheshire Kennel Club’s one show.  However, some may travel the 250 miles to Ringoes NJ for a day with the Hunterdon Hills Kennel Club.  Down in the Mid-Atlantic fanciers will be treated to five shows at one site beginning tomorrow, thanks to the James River Kennel Club, the Roanoke Kennel Club, & the New River Valley Kennel Club.

Great Lakes residents will enjoy the summer cornucopia of shows, choosing from four in Canfield OH courtesy of the Fort Steuben Kennel Association, the Columbiana County Kennel Club, the Beaver County Kennel Club, & the Mahoning-Shenango Kennel Club, four in Marshall MI with the Jaxon Kennel Club, the Sturgis Kennel Club, & the Berrien Kennel Club, & the Coulee Kennel Club’s two in Winona MN.

Across the country’s mid-section we have shows from the Canadian Border to the Gulf of Mexico.  There are four shows in Bismarck ND with the hometown Bismarck Kennel Club, three in West Burlington IA hosted by the Southeastern Iowa Kennel Club & the Burlington Kennel Club, two in Southern Illinois with , the Crab Orchard Kennel Club in Marion IL, and four in Kenner LA, just outside New Orleans, with the Metairie Kennel Club & the Louisiana Kennel Club.

West Coasters will make do with the Richmond Dog Fanciers Club’s two in Dixon CA and the Coos Kennel Club’s duo in Bandon OR.

We expect heavy competition at most sites.  If you visit an AKC show this week, you are sure to be treated to some wonderful pure bred dogs.  What are you waiting for?
