SOUTH COUNTY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins

Our Monday Morning Mop Up may not be dramatic as some weekend events, but we are excited about the results.  We start in Richmond RI where AKC’s top Bearded Collie in history, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins, picked up his 55th & 56th all breed BIS, taking both the top prizes at the South County Kennel Club’s two shows.
On Saturday Roy and handler Cliff Steele had the company of the Parti-Colored Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH PBJ’s Keeper Of The Stars, the Pharaoh Hound, DC Hallams Ethan Ramel, the Akita, GCH CH Nadokos Canadian Connection, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Castle Rocks Sbigstaff Mad About You, the Havanese, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Qbin Whose On First , and  the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Firetowns Out Of The Blue, in Gary Anderson’s final.

Sunday, Jacqueline Rayner closed it out, choosing Roy over the above named Pharaoh Hound & Shar-Pei, the Irish Settr, CH Shadagee Red Delicious,    the Boxer, GCH CH Jacquets Laredo El Encanto, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Maverston Double Dutch, and the Pug, CH Tamris Suite Life Cody At Casey.  That’s nine all breed Bests this year for Roy & Cliff.
