The Key City Kennel Club confined their two shows in St Peter MN this weekend to Saturday & Sunday, leaving Monday open for traditional Memorial Day pursuits. The day one final was handed to Lee Canalizo who selected her BIS from the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Wirehaired Dachshund, Seaclipp Lifeboat for Creekridge MW, the Siberian Husky, CH Playmor’s Leap of Faith, the Airedale Terrier, Epoch’s Time Bandit, the Shih Tzu, CH Symrun’s Love T’Look, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Hispot’s Cause for Applause, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Bandheim’s Captain Crunch.
She chose the GSD, Capi. Capi and handler Jimmy Moses are in a tight race for the Number One Herding Dog. Their ninth BIS will certainly help. Check back with us midweek to see if he made it.
Gene Blake close the set with Capi, the previously mentioned Springer & Shih Tzu, the 15” Beagle, CH Dyno-Mite Sharp Dressed Man, the Bullmastiff, CH Leatherneck Law N Orderokilroy, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Unionjack’s Don’t Wreck My Mojo, and the Chow Chow, CH Cross B Impressive Willie N.
He chose the 13 month old Shih Tzu as his BIS. It’s the first BIS for the brand new Champion. Congratulations to breeders/owners Carol Randle & Carrie Randle.
