We’re getting a late start to our Monday Morning Mop Up, but hey, we’re on vacation here in DC.  As we look back on this eventful week, the big news is the country’s Number One Dog Breeds, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction.  Beckham swept the four BIS in Terre Haute In this week.  We gave you reports on the day one shows of the Terre Haute Kennel Club & Bloomington Indiana Kennel Club

At Saturday’s THKC day two show Beckahm and handler Michael Pitt faced the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Soletrader Bjorn Borg, the Rottweiler, GCCH CH Chancellor High Flyin' Gladiator, the American Staffordshire Terrier, Sbigstaff Genius, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Austin Powers, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Chaoyang Take It To The Limit, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Aryakas Hermes, before getting the nod from judge Barbara Dempsey Alderman.

Sunday, Robert Ennis chose Beckham as his Best In Show at the day two BIKC over the previously named Rottweiler, Shih Tzu, & Shar-Pei, the Greyhound, GCH CH Gaia Elfin Dance, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Waybroke Broxden Turning Tanner, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Legacie's Bold Venture.

In the past few weeks the field had started to close on Beckham, but he has turned on the after burners with these wins and has increased his lead substantially over those behind him.
