WESTMINSTER BEGINS!

CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot
2010 BIS Westminster Kennel Club Show

Judging has begun at the Westminster Kennel Club 135th Annual Dog Show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.  As soon as we get the first breed results we will let you know.  In the meantime you can peruse the catalog on the WKC’s internet site.  We have already started pouring through it and found some entries that we had not expected and some dogs entered that we had hoped to see.

We had not expected to see the 2010 Number One Dog All Breeds, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice, but Dodger is entered and while that does not necessarily mean we will see last year’s top two Terriers go head to head in the breed tomorrow night, one can always hope.  Likewise, last year’s Number two Sporting Dog, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH GCH CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout, and last year’s Number One Non-Sporting Dog, GCH CH Dawin Spitfire, are both entered.  If they show up spectators will get to see two of the finest ever.    One dog we had told you to watch for is not entered, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands.  But that’s one of the things that make’s Westminster unique.  One will be surprised.

Remember to check in with us frequently for reports on most of the breeds and don’t forget our Garden Party begins at 6:45 PM CST here at the internet’s premier dog show stop, Dog Show Poop!
