CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman

The Sunshine State is the Dog Show State this month with 15 all breed shows in January.  Today’s opener, the Greater Daytona Dog Fanciers Association show, was in Ormond Beach near Daytona and featured James White choosing a BIS from among the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Star K's Mile Hi Valentine, the Whippet, CH Bo-Bett’s Speed Demon, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I dream Of Style, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Pug, GCH CH Caper's Sirius Endeavor , the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Dalarno Nite Song At Morningstar.

His Best was a Florida resident, the Skye, Buddy.  Buddy and handler Larry Cornelius finished 2010 as AKC’s Number Three Terrier with 18 all breed BIS and 76 Terrier Group Ones.  Congratulations to Larry, breeders Eugene Zaphiris & Matthew Stander, and owners Carolyn Koch & Victor Malzoni Jr on their first BIS of the year.

  1. Go Buddy! If I could, I'd plant a big wet one on your cheek!

  2. I am sorta searching for others who have Yorkies...and perhaps a Yorkie Poo...we have one of each! Our boy is some handsome kiddo...the Poo one! Loves everyone! Our tiny girl is very protective of us, not at all a lover of other humans. But that's not my question...which IS: what do Yorkie owners do with the hair that falls in their eyes? Do you trim it (I don't like making changes like that, particularly) or use barrettes? Any other ideas? I don't like the fact that the hair covers her eyes and she really can't see well! No wonder she's defensive! The boy? Oh, he'll let anyone pat him and even give them puppy kisses, hair in his eyes and all! I have always had very large dogs...for well over 45 years this is a whole new venture for us, and we are certainly enjoying them, and spoil them by letting them sleep with us...well...under the bed, which they seem to prefer, unless it's thundering! Used to scoff at these tiny ones while on the board of the Greater Daytona Dog Fanciers! Many, many years ago, now! I've changed my tune!
