OLYMPIA DFA

CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore

If you haven’t been to an AKC  dog show in the Pacific Northwest, you are missing some of the nation’s most spectacular dogs.  This weekend they were gathered in Elma WA for the Olympia Dog Fanciers Association’s two shows.  On Saturday Dana Plonkey gathered the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Poole's Ide Got Water, the Saluki, CH Carmas Indian Summer, the Samoyed, CH Shaman's Maid Of The Mist, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Trugrip One Singular Sensation, the Affenpinscher, CH Tamarin Top Banana, the Standard Poodle, CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Australian Shepherd, Blue Isle's Bourree.  Best went to the Poodle making her first appearance as a Champion.  You may recall that she recently went BISS at the Poodle Club of America’s National Specialty from the classes.  It’s not often we get to name two DOGS2WATCH in the same week, but what can we say.  When they are good, they’re good.

Sunday, Encore & handler Tim Brazier would be back to see Bernadette Cox along with the aforementioned IWS & Affenpinscher, the Black & Tan Coonhound, CH Silver Ridge Showthyme At Windbourne, the Great Dane, CH Coleridge's Just Doin' It In Black, the West Highland White Terrier, CH Gailaurie's Zoom Zoom Zoom, and the Rough Collie, Darlyn's Legacy In Gold.   BIS would go to the Affenpinscher, Topper, his third this year.  Congratulations to breeders Tamarin Kennel (Terry & Jackie Stacy), Tracy Kahlo & Susy Stremel, owner Myrna R Kahlo, and handler Tiffany Skinner.
