In the Northern California town of Dixon, it was all about the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams. We had told you that Conrad started the weekend by winning the Puli Club Of America national specialty and followed that with BIS wins at the the Northern California Herding Group Association show and the Saturday Sacramento Valley Kennel Club show. What we haven’t told you tis Conrad rolled right on through Suynday winning the day two show under William F Potter II.

CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams

On Saturday Conrad was accompanied in the final by the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Stanegate Supertramp, the Afghan Hound, CH Thaon’s Mowgli, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Aviators Luck Be A Lady, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Slyfox Sneaks A Peek, the Shih Tzu, CH Amitzu China Doll, and the Boston Terrier, CH Flying Ford N Sunglo Dragon’s Bordeaux. On Sunday it was Conrad with the same Sporting, Hound, Working, & Terrier reps joined by the Havanese, CH Bellatak My Funny Valentine, & the Tibetan Terrier, CH Player's Just Like Butter.

We don’t know why the good ones always peak in the last quarter of the year, but they do. Look for the number three dog all breeds to be in contention at every big show through out the remainder of 2009.
