MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACKING

Although there were 15 fewer shows this past week than the one before, we had far fewer shows reporting in over the weekend. So we have a lot of ground to cover today.

CH Kimro's Soldier Boy

In the Northeast Region, we had shows three shows in Connecticut and one In Pensylvania. We were able to give you some of Friday’s Newton Kennel Club results, but here’s what we left out. In addition to those finalists previously reported , joining BIS winner, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton, in Patricia A. Mowbray-Morgan’s final were the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Shomberg's One Hot Ticket Deppe-Haus, the Border Terrier, CH Stradbrook's Cranberry Chutney, and the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro's Soldier Boy.

CH Fleet St Fenway Fan

Saturday’s Ox Ridge Kennel Club featured Sharon Lyons in the final ring with Friday finalists, the Doberman, CJ, & the MinPin, Major, the Golden Retriever, CH Tempo's U've Got What Gets Me, the Scottish Deerhound, CH Gayleward's Jaraluv Nike, the Irish Terrier, CH Fleet St Fenway Fan, the Standard Poodle, CH Beauciel Orion Dartagnan, and the Canaan Dog, CH Renegade Camber. Her BIS was the Irish Terrier, Finn, his second BIS in the past two weekends.

CH Star K's Mile Hi Valentine

Sunday, the Northwestern Connecticut Dog Club took over with Sheila DiNardo taking over BIS duty. It would be all new faces excepting the MinPin, hoping the third time would be a charm. Major’s six companions were the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Star K’s Mile Hi Valentine, the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH Starbarrack Spice Island SW, the Boxer, CH Hi-Tech's Southern Belle, the Welsh Terrier, CH Marydale's Limited Edition, the Shiba Inu, CH Banshou Go Ryuukyuu Uruma, and the Smooth Collie, CH Camloch Long Acre's Iridescent.

It was the the GWP, Tina, taking BIS. Now in the top 25 dogs all breeds, Tina is a consistent finisher with nearly 40 Group Firsts this year. That's number three this year for Tina.

CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton &
Handler Carrisa DeMIlta Shimpeno

Meanwhile, Friday's BIS winner, the Doberman , CJ, was in Kemberton PA accepting the Valley Forge Kennel Club’s top prize from BIS judge Johan Becerra Hernandez. CJ’s dance parners were the English Springer Spaniel, CH Cerise Jesse James, the Whippet, CH Snow Hill Onyx At Stoneledge, the Sealyham Terrier, CH Efbe’s Merci Pour LePoive, the Pekingese, CH Linn-Lee’s For The Good Times, the Boston Terrier, CH Barra’s Anak Nacal, and the Rough Collie, CH Kelso’s Moon Dancin PT.

Next, we’re off to the Southeast Region.
