There were shows in one locale this past weekend on which we have not received a complete report. We’ve been told that there was no AKC rep present in Wisconsin, so we will, once again, have to rely on our readers.

CH Tupelo ShoBoat Tu China Tu

The Paper Cities Kennel Club held a pair of shows in Weston WI Saturday and Sunday. We did tell you that the Pug, CH Tupelo ShoBoat Tu China Tu, picked up the BIS at Saturday’s Show. We now know that Boo was accompanied in the final ring by the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, CH Rokeena Carte Blanche, the Newfoundland, CH Skipper's Eminence King Of Helluland, and the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice. Hopefully one of our readers will let us know the names of the Golden Retriever, the French Bulldog, and the Bouvier des Flandres that were also in Houston Clark’s final.

CH Skipper's Eminence King Of Helluland

On Sunday, Boo, the PBGV, CeeJay, the Smooth Fox, Dodger, (that’s three top ten dogs right there) and the Newfie, Lincoln, went back to joust for the top prize. Again, we would be so pleased if our readers could identify the German Wirehaired Pointer, French Bulldog, and Smooth Collie who joined them.

Robert Shreve’s BIS was the country’s number one Newfoundland, Lincoln. It’s the first BIS this year for the Slovakian born dog. Congratulations to breeder Bela Siklosi and owners Laura Vande Ven & Peggy Helming.
