SOUTH SHORE KENNEL CLUB 1



GCH CH Crispy Legacy

The South Shore Kennel Club was the day two host today in Falmouth MA and they chose James Noe to command the final ring.  The seven dogs that he considered were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH PBJ’s Fearless, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Exlysta Aries Ciel Noir, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Ramahill Absolutes I Am Legend Of RW, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Crispy Legacy, the Pug, GCH CH Foursquare I'll Be A Shostopa Tu, the Bulldog, GCH CH Cherokee Legend Cowboy, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s tails of Mystery CGC.

Repeating their Thursday placements were the Wire Fox, Sparky, who took the BIS and the Cocker, Taylor, who collected the RBIS.  That brings Sparky’s 2013 record to 11 BIS and  23 Terrier Groups.

DAY ONE IN AMARILLO TX



GCH CH Chesterhope State Of T Art

Amarillo TX is the site of the Panhandle Kennel Club of Texas’ four shows this week.  Yesterday’s final was called by judge Joe Gregory.  The seven seeking his favor were the Pointer, GCH CH Chesterhope State Of T Art, the Whippet, CH Wasatch Pasodoble At Runrig, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Nordpol's Saturday Night Fever, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Bordairn's Total Chaos, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua,CH Stonehill Great Escape, GCH the Finnish Spitz, GCH CH Finnkkila's Nalle Poike, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Telltail CoCo Posh.

His Best In Show was the Pointer, Miley, his Reserve the Corgi, CoCo.  It’s the tenth BIS in 44 final appearances for Miley this year.

JACKSON MS DAY ONE



GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara

Here in the Mid-South fanciers are gathered in Mississippi’s state capital, Jackson, for four shows courtesy of the   Greenville Mississippi Kennel Club and the Mississippi State Kennel Club.  The GMKC kicked things off on Thursday, ending the day with Dr Robert Smith’s final.

The seven he saw were the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Ashdown’s Time To Thrill, the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara, the Mastiff, GCH CH Willow Ridges Risky Business, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Shaireab’s Bayleigh Maid of Honor, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Castile's Endless Love, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East Do You Know the Way to San Jose, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Topsy Turvey.

His top two were the Saluki, Bubbles, and the Puli, Charlotte.  Bubbles is the US’ Number One Saluki and Number Five Hound with ten BIS and 52 Hound Groups this season.

GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Akita Trade Secret

We have another full week of shows, with 42 all breed shows and 11 limited breed shows in 17 venues across the US.  The Pocono Mountain Kennel Club, Lehigh Valley Kennel Club, and the Berks County Kennel Club are in Macungie PA for their four shows.  First up yesterday was the PMKC who asked Jacqueline Rayner to choose their day one BIS and RBIS.

Her options were the Irish Setter, CH Rosette Mandolin Wind, the Bloodhound, GCH Flessner’s International  S’cess, the Akita, GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Akita Trade Secret, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval Angel’s Whisper, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Sakura, the French Bulldog, CH LeFox Born To Boogie, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.

Day One’s Best was the Akita, Trader, Reserve the Airedale, Wispa.  Trader is the country’s Number One Akita and the Number Seven Working Dog with four BIS and 22 Working Groups.

CRANBERRY CLUSTER DAY ONE



CH Crispy Legacy

We begin this week’s reports in New England where the Cape Cod Kennel Club opened the four day Cranberry Cluster.  The seven dogs making the day one final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH PBJ’s Fearless, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Vin-Melca’s Norseman, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH CH Avatars Smooth Criminal, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Crispy Legacy, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Yarrow’s Hi-Tech Ben There Done That, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Tramac Just Watchme Shine, and the Puli, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Twist and Shout.

Today’s BIS went to the Wire Fox, Sparky, the RBIS to the Cocker, Taylor.  It’s the tenth BIS in 22 final appearances this year for Sparky and handler Ernesto Lara.

Our last report from last weekend is from Brownsville OR where the Eugene Kennel Club held their two shows.  Day one saw judge Betty Anne Stenmark in the final ring with the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Segre's Brown Derby BN RA OA OAJ, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Bougain'e Naughty-N-Lovely Alvin, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Cortereal Iron Man CD RA AX MXJ XF BN, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding v Sole Baye, the Pekinese, CH Windemere's This Style's For You, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzoso Salvame From Afterglow, and the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Sky Acres Flying Solo.

Best was the PWD, Bacchus, and Reserve was the Beagle, Alvin.  It was the first BIS for Bacchus and handler Luke Seidlitz, who has only recently embarked on his solo career.  Congratulations to Luke, breeder/owner Nadine Hunter, co-breeder Judy Knorr, and owner Judy Berger.

GCH CH Kaniska' Kauz For Komotion at Talkeetna

Only the Miniature Schnauzer, and Alvin, the Beagle, would return on Sunday to see BIS judge Robert Frost.  Joining them were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH  Mountain View National Acclaim, the Siberian Husky,  GCH CH Kaniska' Kauz For Komotion at Talkeetna, the Toy Fox Terrier, CH Valcopy Shively Son Of A Gun, the Dalmatian, CH Merry Go Round Express, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Woodstock’s Belle Star.

Judge Frost’s BIS was the Beagle, Alvin, and his RBIS, the Siberian, Kauzmo.  Alvin is the nation’s Number One 13” Beagle with two BIS and five Hound Groups this season.
