The country’s early leader in the race to be Number One Dog All Breeds for 2011, collected his third BIS of the year and his second in Fredericksburg VA this week.  The Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, scampered away with the BIS at today’s Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club show.  Joining Joe and handler Ernesto Lara in Barbara Dempsey Alderman’s final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Scottish Deerhound, GCH CH Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, yesterday’s BIS winner, the Great Dane, GCH CH Lobato’s JitterBug Man, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Standard Poodle, CH Hillwood Dassin Shut Up N’Dance, and a German Shepherd Dog from the classes, Kenlyn’s Isadora V Hi-Cliff.

We are happy to tell you that the on-line catalogs from the Fredericksburg shows are now available the day of the show, enabling us to tell you more about the shows, like the fact that Joe had an especially tough path to today’s final as he was first challenged by last year’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, in the Toy Group.  See how interesting it gets when you know more than just the top seven?
