Before we turn in tonight we want to tell you about the Shawnee Kennel Club show in Berryville VA.  Sue Woodle had the pleasure of a final with the Irish Setter, CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed, the Basenji, CH Reveille Pushed To The Limit MV, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Thor-Kourt Tweetbt Tyrakeag, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash Jp Moon Walk, the Schipperke, CH Aned’s Le Rocher Noir, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.  Best went to the country’s Number One Working Dog, the Boxer, Scarlett.   BIS number 20 this year for Scarlet, keeps the race very tight among our Top Five Dogs.

Dog shows just don’t get prettier than the Del Monte Kennel Club show in Carmel CA.  If we were to die and got to heaven, it would be a dog show weekend in Carmel CA.  Today’s version had James R White in a final with the Vizsla, CH Tivoliz Now Pay Attention SH OA OAJ CD RN, the Bloodhound Quiet Creek’s Kiss And tell, the Boxer, GCH CH Duba-Dae's Who's Your Daddy, the Welsh Terrier, CH Darwyn's I'm Not Arguing That, the Brussels Griffon, CH Cashin’s Walk The Line, the  Standard Poodle, CH Monfort Ariel Arietta, and the Bearded Collie, CH BrigadoonDayBarBelieveItOrNot.  His BIS was the Boxer, Bosco. It was the ninth all breed Best this year for Bosco and owner/handler Wendy Bettis.

The nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, was in Essex Junction VT to pick up the BIS at today’s Champlain Valley Kennel Club show.  Joining Malachy in Patricia Mowbray-Morgan’s ring were the English Springer Spaniel, CH Cerise’s Tender Is The Night, the 15” Beagle, Langrigg Star Of The Stage, yesterday’s BIS, the Akita, CH Nokoda’s Reign Of Glory, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Stelle Your Heart, the Bulldog, CH Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Shoal Creek’s Sangria V Barick.    Malachy was bred by Jim & Jean Smith of England, is owned by Iris Love, Sandra Middlebrooks, DavidFitzpatrick, and handled by David.  Congratulations to them all.

Douglas R Holloway Jr was in the final ring today for the Ashtabula Kennel Club in Madison OH.  His super seven were the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Kan-Point’s Leading The chase, the Red Bone Coonhound from the Bred By Class, Twisted Creek They Call Me Thunder, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH CH Liebenhund’s Who’s Your Daddy, the Staffordshire Bull tesrrier, CH Angranian Derry Mucker, the Japanese Chin, GCH CH Tanzen’s OK Storm Of Zen-Chins, the Bulldog, CH Cash;s Bringin Sexy Back, the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Myshara’s Dream Girl.  His BIS was the Aussie, Beyonce.  That’s the fourth this year for Beyonce and handler Jamie Clute.

We have results from Marshall MI and yesterday’s Holland Michigan Kennel Club show and today’s Battle Creek Kennel Club event.  Yesterday Bettyann Hale got the first look at the Gordon Settter, CH Firethorn And Sandpiper Easy On The Eyes, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Genesis Silverado, the Doberman Pinscher, CH A'Monde Sand & Dunes Of Sahara, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Aljanar Dealin With The Devil, the Shih Tzu, CH Halllmark Joelie Austin Powers, the Lhasa Apso, CH Northwind Nothing Buyt Trouble, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv’s Gambolon Blue Thunder.  Best was the Old English, Elvis.  It’s lucky number seven this year for Elvis and breeder/owner/handler Jere Marder.

Today, Richard V Miller got to see the same Gordon Setter, Afghan, & Shih Tzu, the Rottweiler, CH Avatar White Rose No Shelter From The Storm, and CH Kerrisel's Here's Looking At You, the French Bulldog, CH Suirac's Deal Or No Deal, & the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Quiche’s Glamor Girl.  Best was the glorious Afghan, Dylan, perfectly partnered by the always smooth Marcelo Veras.  Dylan and Marcelo have had four BIS weekends in a row for a total of ten this year.  You won’t find a more glamorous couple on the circuit this year.

We are just back from our local show, today’s Greater Shelby Kennel Club event in Southaven MS where we got another Winners Bitch on our Cairn Terrier, Shadowland’s Devil In Disguise aka Dee Dee.  Our thanks to our Terrier buds, D’Elda Germany & Kathy Burleson, for their assistance and a special thanks to judge Joe Gregory for the win.  A family engagement kept us from staying for the BIS call, but we did return to results for you out there.

From Riverhead NY we hear that the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Midnight Confession has collected her 23rd career BIS, the latest coming at today’s Riverhead Kennel Club show.  Lola was accompanied in Carol Resiman’s final  by the Pointer, CH Marjetta Rave Review JH, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Mi-Ti's Three Cheers, yeste3rday’s BIS winner, the  Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Lil Itch Cheerleader, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro's Soldier Boy, the Tibetan Terrier, CH Panchen's Great Ball Of Fire, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.  Lola, who now has twelve BIS this year, was bred and is owned by Marcelo Chagas & M F & Alessandra Botelho.  Congratulations to them all.

We have some late results from Belvidere IL where the Blackhawk Kennel Club kicked off a three day weekend with Dr Randy Weckman calling the BIS.  His final seven included the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Nonnies Deja Vu, the Whippet, CH Kamada's Instant Millionaire, the Neapolitan Mastiff, CH Bruno Bella Vecchia Roma, the Norfolk Terrier, CH Max-Well’s Violet, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, CH Royalist Ready To Reign, the Standard Poodle, CH Dawin Spitfire, and the Bearded Collie, CH Ragtyme Phoenix From The Ashes.  His BIS was the Cocker, Liam.  It ws the first all breed BIS this year for Liam, the US’ Number One English Cocker Spaniel.  Congratulations to breeders Vickie Umpleby & Susan Emerson, owners Lisa Munro, Vickie Umpleby & Gary Prague, and handler Robin L Novack.

Polly Smith was in Tunbridge VT today to choose a BIS for the Woodstock Dog Club.  She had the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, CH Fireside’s Spontaneopus Combustion, the Norwegian Elkhound, CH Sommeri Dunharrow’s Devil Ray, the  Akita, GCH CH Nakodo’s Reign Of Glory, the Welsh Terrier, CH Abbeyrose Jerseyboy, the King Charles & Ruby English Toy Spaniel, CH Sotuhdown Nonetheless, the Chow Chow, CH Chowlamar Rebelrun Mr. Kidd, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Happiharbor Saddle Lane TY.  Her Best was our newest DOG2WATCH, the Akita, Echo.  That’s Echo’s fifth BIS this year.  She and handler Paul Levesque have been on a tear since the end of May.  We love us a little momentum.

RIVERHEAD KENNEL CLUB

New Yorkers were out on the Island in the village of Riverhead for today’s Riverhead Kennel club show.  They were treated to a final with William DeVilleneuve and the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Signature Of Telltale RN CD, the Afghan Hound, CH Exlysta Reflects The Sky, the Siberian Husky, CH Indigo's Synama Wood Imp, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Lil Itch Cheerleader, the Miniature Pinscher, CH  Kimro's Soldier Boy, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Risgae's Dutchess Of Wessex, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Windfall Slam Dunk.  BIS was the Smooth Fox, Blossome.  It’s the first this year for the four year old bitch, who is a half sioster to the country‘s Number One Dog All Breeds, GCH CH J‘Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice.  Congratulations to breeder Cindy Pritchard and owners Wendy Perry, Whitney Perry, & Suzann Hoesman.

FRIDAY IN MADISON OHIO

CH Chaoyang’s Take It To The Limit

The Grand River Kennel Club opened a three day weekend today in Madison OH.  Nancy Dinkfelt assembled the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Lehi’s Crystal Ball At Bluriver, the American Foxhound, CH Hewly Camilla, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Adesa floats Like A  Butterfly, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Angranian Derry Mucker, the Pomeranian, CH Mountain Crest U Don’t Own Me, the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Chaoyang’s Take It To The Limit, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Myshara’s Dream Girl.  Her Best was the Shar-Pei.  It’s the third for the two year old dog and handler Nina Fetter.
