COLUMBUS IN RESULTS

We have results from today’s Kennel Club Of Columbus, Indiana show.

CH Sunnland’s Grand Entrance HIC

Dr Richard Greathouse’s final seven were the Weimaeraner, CH Smokycity Silhouette Dbl Ur Pleasure, the Greyhound, CH Gaia Elfin Dance, the Rottweiler, CH Sammcastle’s Friar Tuck, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Cornerstone Soliloquy, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Mondrian V H Lamslag RE, the Chinese Shar-Pei, Chaoyang Take It To The Limit, and the Smooth Colle, CH Sunnland’s Grand Entrance HIC.

It was Greta, the Smooth Collie, handled by Collie maven Diane Steele, taking home her fourth all breed BIS, the second this month.

CJ BEST IN CT

CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton

We’ve been waiting for full results from Shelton CT where the Newton Kennel Club held their show today, but we’ve decided to give you what we have. We hear that Patricia A. Mowbray-Morgan selected the Doberman Pinscher, CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton, as her BIS. Also on hand were top twenty dogs, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, CH Rokeena Carte Blanche, the Bulldog, CH Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins. CJ, the number two dog all breeds, keeps trying to close the gap on number one. We look forward to watching her down the stretch.

BOO IS BACK

From Gray Summit MO we hear that Robert Hutton has chosen the Pug, CH Tupelo ShoBoat Tu China Tu, as his Best In Show at today’s Jefferson County Kennel Club Of Missouri show.

Also competing for the BIS were the Viszla, CH Renaissance Girls Gone Wild, the Basenji, CH Ab-Rafiki The Icon Of Cool, the Rottweiler, CH Nighthawk’s Born For Highwood, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Irisfingel Blue Badge, the Schipperke, CH CH Dante Fire When Ready HOF, and a Canadian German Shepherd Dog whose name we are still looking for.

That’s Boo’s third BIS since returning form hiatus a couple of weeks ago. We expect Boo will be abck in the top ten all breeds by next week.

SADIE TOPS IN ATLANTA

The results are in from Atlanta where today's Douglasville Kennel Club Of Georgia was the opener for a three day stand.

Dana Cline had some of our better known dogs in his final seven. They were the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout, the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH Gleneagles Who's Famous Now, the Rottweiler, CH Ecko Ridges American Justice, the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot, The Toy Poodle, CH Smash Jp Moon Walk, the Lhasa Apso, CH My Thai Ta Sen Halleluiah Chorus, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams.

BIS went to our nation’s top dog, the Scottie, Sadie. We will get out first glimpse of her in the flesh at next month's all Terrier party, Montgomery County. We can’t wait.

INDIANA RESULTS

It took us a while, but we now have the results from Saturday’s Greater Lafayette Kennel Club in Lebanon IN. (Are we the only one that finds Roy Jones show reports difficult to decipher? )

Saturday Keke Kahn’s final seven were the Gordon Setter, CH Firethorn & Sandpiper Easy On The Eyes, the Basset Hound, CH Topsfield-Sanchu American Express, The Samoyed, CH Polar Mist X-Tasy, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Cornerstone Soliloquy, the Pomeranian, CH CH Lana's American Icon, the Dalmatian, CH Anticipation Here's Lucy, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Turnkeys Little Big Man RN.

Her BIS was the nation’s number one Gordon, Carson. This is Carson’s first BIS this year. Congratulation’s to breeders Mary McLoughlin DVM, Janice Beattie, Chris Kirby & Caren McWeeney, owners Don & Pat Coller, Mary McLoughlin DVM, & Chris Kirby, and handler Eileen Hackett.

CH Wil-Orion's Twenty Twenty

Sunday, Dan Cline would see the same Basset, Staff Bull, Pom, & Corgi along with the English Springer Spaniel, CH Wil-Orion's Twenty Twenty, the Anatolian Shepherd Dog, CH Insanna Bay Boudreau Of LuckyHit, and the Dalmatian, CH Tramac Just Walk'N On Sunshine. BIS would go to another Sporting Dog, the Springer, Titus. It was his first all breed BIS. Titus was bred by Janice L & Erica R Johnson who co-own him with Laurie Green & Erline Jesseman. Jody Paquette handles Titus. Congratulations to them all.

MONDAY IN MISSOURI

The Onofrio computer staff has been posting results all day and they have just added the results from Monday’s Three Rivers Kennel Club Of Missouri show.

CH Gentry’s Braveheart

George Marquis had the BIS duty for the last of four shows in Sullivan MO this past week. His final final seven were Saturday’s BIS winner, the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH EXL’s Leather N Lace, the Bloodhound, CH Ghost Hollow’s Spectacular Bid, the Mastiff, CH Redgates All That Glitters, the Norwich Terrier, CH Skyscot’s Poker Chip, the Shih Tzu, CH Symarun’ Look N Good, the Chow Chow, CH D-Jin Gang Of Anna Kennel, and the Rough Collie, CH Gentry’s Braveheart.

BIS went to the Collie, Ivan. That’s number three for Ivan who is the nation’s number one Rough Collie based on breed points.

MINNESOTA RESULTS

We have another report from last weekend for you. This one comes from the Rochester Minnesota Kennel Club which gave us two shows this week.

CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence

On Saturday, Bev Capstick had the Golden Retriever, CH Tangleloft She Givsme Butterflys, the Wireharied Dachshund, EZ Goings Creekridge Nick I Ain’t No Saint MW, the Kuvasz, CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Cairn Terrier, CH Terriwood Mojo, the Shih Tzu, CH Ista’s Tern’ It Up, the Dalmatian, CH Paisley Nspird By Broadway, and the Rough Collie, CH Rosepoint Winterfest.

It was the Kuvasz, Tanner, picking up his second all breed BIS. This puppy prodigy, just 13 months old, won his breed’s national specialty at seven months old and his first all breed BIS at nine months. We will be watching Tanner in the year to come and that makes him a DOG2WATCH.

CH Evergreen’s Sweet Clover Ann

On Sunday, Tanner, would settled for a Group Four, as the Great Pyrenees, CH Rivergrove’s Dom Perignon CD, advanced to Donovan Thompson’s final. Joining the Pyrenees were the German Shorthaired Pointer, Robin Crest Spectacular Bid, the Saluki, CH Sand Storm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Rathangan Mystic At Morwin, the abovementioned Shih Tzu, the Bulldog, CH Evergreen’s Sweet Clover Ann, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Beaszak’s Blue Nude.

Sunday would be the Saluki’s day as the two year old picked up his first all breed BIS of the year. Congratulations to breeder Kathleen Morton and owners Jackie Harrington & Sara Winsted. We searched and searched for a photo of this girl. Hopefully one of you sighthound fans will find us one.

MORE WEEKEND RESULTS

We still have results from this pst weekend dribbling in. The Chattanooga Kennel Club had a pair of show in the suburb of East Ridge TN.

On Saturday Nancy Smith Hafner lined up the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter Mt View Lookout, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Adili’s American Idol, the Great Dane, CH Echolane-Darlin’s Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH M & M’s Nicholas Nickelbe, the Pomeranian, CH Velocity’s Shake Ur Bon Bon, the Standard Poodle, CH Dawin Spitfire, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams.

Her BIS was the big Poodle, Spitfire. That’s number eight this year for the nation’s number three Non-Sporting Dog.

As we previously told you, the Puli, Conrad, was Stephen Hurt’s BIS choice on Sunday. Also in that final were Saturday finalists the GWP, Scout, The Pom, Bon, & the Poodle, Spitfire. They were joined by the 15” Beagle, CH Springfields Crystal’s Twister, the Boxer, CH Rummer Run’s Brigadier, & the Cairn Terrier, CH Caledonian In For A Penny Of Wolfpit.

ARIZONA RESULTS


We’ve worked our way across the US to region Seven, the Southwest Region, where the only game in town was the Prescott Arizona Kennel Club in Chino Valley AZ.

Their two shows started Saturday with Eugene Blake, perusing the last seven, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, CH Alibi N"royals Heiress $$$, the Basenji, Sulous Siosis, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Marienburgs Inaqui Sukiyaki, the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot, the Affenpinscher, CH Tamarin Tug, the Bulldog, CH Newcombs Scorpion, and the Bearded Collie, CH Brigadoon Showstopper At Scott. His BIS was the Doberman, Sushi. It was the three year old’s third BIS this year.

Sunday, Sushi joined feloow Saturday finalists, the Scottish Terrier, Sadie, and the Affenpinscher, Taser, in Robert Stein’s BIS ring along with the Vizsla, CH Renaissance Grils one wild, the Pharaoh Hound, Galadrials Aurora Red Du Ciel , the Schipperke, CH Bonchien Mr. Monopoly, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Donlee Man O'War. Best In Show went to top ten dog, the Affenpinscher, Taser. Taser finished 2008 as the number three dog all breeds and he is determined to hold on to a top ten berth this year.

REGION SIX RESULTS

Region Six, the Northwest Region, was busy this weekend with three sites holding shows. We’ve given you all the results from the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club in San Rafael CA. Here’ what was happening elsewhere.

CH Silveroaks First & Foremost

In Farmington UT the Bonneville Basin Kennel Club held a pair of shows. On Saturday, Joan Anselm greeted the Golden Retriever, CH Toasty’s Treasure Island, the Longhaired Dachshund, CH Sunteckel’s Samuel II, the Boxer, CH Dubadae’s Who’s Your Daddy, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Cresstock Walk The Line, the Shih Tzu, CH Xerlane’s Delicious Face, the American Eskimo Dog, CH Silveroaks First & Foremost, and the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Iona I Can Shine. Best In Show went to the Dachshund, his first this year. Congratulations to breeders Jan Schirmer & Kevin Schirmer, owners Sharon Lutosky & Terry Abst, and handler Lorene E Hogan.

Sunday, the Golden, Dachshund, Boxer, & Sheltie were all back to see BIS judge Lorraine Bisso. The remaining finalists were the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Kathrich Maximo $$$, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Orchard Hill Shirmont Backtalk, and the French Bulldog, CH Highwood Big Shot. BIS went to the Frenchie, Willie, who becomes the only French Bulldog to win an all breed BIS this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Alexandra Vorbeck & Perry Payson, and handler Alvin N Lee Jr.

CH Legacy Empress Of The Copa

Up in Wenatchee WA The hometown Wenatchee Kennel Club fielded their two shows. On Saturday Anitra Cuneo went over the Irish Setter, CH Ashton Peaceful Easy Feeling, the Borzoi, CH AAshtoria Wildhunt Hidden Agenda, the Akita, CH Crown Royals Start'N A Revolution, the Cairn Terrier, CH Kiowa MMDW Driving Miss Daisy, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Full Of Malarkey Miles Of Aisles, the Bulldog, CH Legacy Empress Of The Copa, and the Belgian Tervuren, CH Sky Acres Flying Solo. BIS went to the Bulldog, Emmy, her first this year. Emmy was bred by Matthew Bonner & Kelly Copen, is owned by Kelly and Jay Serion, who handles Emmy. Congratulations to them all.

CH Ashton Peaceful Easy Feeling

Sunday, Emmy and Saturday finalists, the Irish Setter & Borzoi, were all back to see Dr Robert Smith. Making their first appearance of the weekend were the Alaskan Malamute, CH Rogue's Jonny Walker Blk Label, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Trugrip One Singular Sensation, the Toy Fox Terrier, CH Valcopy Wicket Ways , and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Merit's Heartfelt Thanks. Bulldogs are icons of r perseverance and Emmy lived up to that image by taking home her second BIS of the weekend.
