WE'RE BACK!

GCH CH LTO Prosperity

We are finally back at the keyboard after our heart surgery and facing a three week backlog of show reports. Not wishing to push our recovery too hard we will not try to do separate show reports for all of the shows we missed, but will point out a few of the noteworthy wins that occurred while we were missing in action. First, the King Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO Prosperity, collected his 20th career all breed Best In Show at the Freeborn County Kennel Club of Minnesota show on August 9th in Albert Lea MN under judge Peggy Beisel-Mcllwaine, breaking the record for all varieties of the English Toy Spaniel. Our congratulations to breeder/owner Mark Landers, owners Ray Cole & Susan Carter, and handler Jeff Wright.

GCH CH Doubloon’s Extreme Play

The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, GCH CH Doubloon’s Extreme Play, scored a BIS on August 10th at the Nisqually Kennel Club in Lacey WA under judge David Krogh. It was only the second Wheaten BIS this year. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Elena Landa.

GCH CH Kings Mtn Angelina Ballerina

The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is one of the rarest of AKC’s recognized breeds, so we are delighted that the Dandie, GCH CH Kings Mtn Angelina Ballerina, was judge Dr Dale Simmons’s BIS at the Anderson Kennel Club show in Muncie IN on August 15th. Congratulations to Sandra Wolfskill, Donna Francis Sandra Pretari, & Betty-Anne Stenmark, owners Sandra Pretari Hickson & Donna Chambers-Rau, and handler Carlos Puig.

GCH CH Aurora’s The Song and Dance Man

One of our regular stops is the Arkansas Kennel Club’s August shows in Little Rock AR, just 150 miles from our Memphis TN home. We didn’t make them this year and we missed one of our favorite couples going BIS Sunday under judge Timothy Robbins, the Saluki, GCH CH Aurora’s The Song and Dance Man, handled by the singular Gene Blake. Our congratulations to owner/handler Gene, breeders Jay Stone, Carol Waymire & Barbara Wright, and owner Julie Mueller.
