The biggest prize of this week was yesterday’s Olympic Kennel Club show in Enumclaw WA, with 2400 dogs entered.  So it’s not surprising that one of the 2400 would be the nation’s Number One Dog, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, hoping to increase her lead over the field.

Sky did just that, taking the day one BIS.  Judge Judith Daniels' RBIS was the Weimaraner, GCH CH Simpatico Equal Justice.   Also among the seven finalists were the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Bakari’s V Lotra Caymus, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH CH Vinn October It Had 2VV You  the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Quail Garden Loch Lomond Déjà vu, the Lhasa Apso, Larisan’s Paint Your Wagon, and the Shetland Sheep Dog, GCH CH PaRay Preferential.

We won’t know until Tuesday or Wednesday how much Sky’s 43rd BIS will increase her lead, but we will be the first to tell you.  Check back with us often.
