Here in the South we don’t like to split our venues.  Witness the Columbus Kennel Club, the Southeast Alabama Kennel Club, & the Macon Kennel Club all agreeing to hold four shows at one site in Perry GA.

The CKC kicked it off on Thursday and asked June Penta to select her Best of the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles Of Jatara, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Cadrae This Is It , the Border Terrier, GCH CH Highgate & The Ark Rejoice, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Glenleigh Gangs N Roses, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Karizmas Ike Of Edale.

Day one went to the country’s Number One Toy Dog, the MinPin, Classie.  Classie is the Number Five Dog All Breeds with eleven Bests In Show to her credit in 2012.

At Saturday’s MKC event Jon Cole might have picked the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here the Black Russian Terrier, GCH CH Zilyas Chicago Blues Fusion At Runes, or one of the aforementioned Schnauzer, MinPin, Schipperke, or GSD, but he didn’t.  The two wins bring to five BIS this season for Bubbles & handler Erin Roberts.
