TREASURE COAST KC OF FL 2

CH Chambrays Celestial N Counter  

James White had the closer at today’s Treasure Coast Kennel Club Of Florida show in Sebring FL.  The last seven dogs to leave the show grounds were the Labrador Retriever, CH Chambrays Celestial N Counter, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Encore’s Rerun Of Roirdan, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Skye Terrier, CH Of Skyeline captain hook, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Hampton Court’s Party Time at Legend, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog Bayou’s The Warrior, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.  

Best went to AKC’s most popular breed, the Labrador, Kika.  It’s the first BIS for the 15 month old bitch.  Gotta love an ingĂ©nue!  Congratulations to breeder/owner Johanna Herzon, co-breeder Valerie Till, and owner Johanna Herzon.

GCH CH Larkspur Arcadia Save Me A Spot

We hear that the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Arcadia Save Me A Spot, has made it two in a row winning today’s South County Kennel Club show in Richmond RI.  

Judge Karen Wilson might have chosen the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistle Stop’s Riley on Fire, the Longhaired dachshund, CH Aviance Solo's He's The One SL, a Boxer from the 6-9 Month Puppy Bitch class, Salgray's Celtic Caoimhe, the Havanese, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Qbin Who’s On First, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Firetown's Out Of The Blue, or the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Mishaook Lulu At Chateau Blanc HSCs, but she didn’t.  

Spot and handler RC Carusi pick up their fifth BIS of the year and a whole lot of momentum going into the summer season.

Edd Bivin had the day two final for the Fort St Clair Kennel Club today in Eaton OH.  The seven who stayed all day Sunday were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Be Nice To Me, the Boxer, GCH CH Ho-Pa’s Grand Slam, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH , J‘Cobe Broxden Danea, the Toy Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Cottage Lake’s Bela Horizonte, the Lhasa Apso, CH Cozmos Custombuilt, and a 15month old German Shepherd Dog from the Open Dog class, Von Webber’s BlackCobra of Tanlgewood.  

BIS went to the country’s Number Four Dog All Breeds, the Springer, Peyton.  It’s the fifth top prize for Peyton & handler Robin Novack this year and the second this month.

DAY TWO IN BIRCH RUN MI

GCH CH Newcastle’s Blame It On The Sun

The Progressive Dog Club Of Wayne County wrapped up their two day stop in Birch Run MI today with Meredith Johnson-Snyder in the final ring.  There to seek her approval were the English Setter, GCH CH Stargazr'n Wingfield Time Will Tell, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Tioka's American Ride, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH Newcastle’s Blame It On The Sun, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Bells Will be Ringing, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogel flight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the Puli, GCH CH Moonshadow Rongyos Kis Medve.  

It was the Bullmastiff bitch, Soleil, taking home her first AKC BIS.  Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler  Anthony Scully, co-breeders Dr James & Marilyn Schaap, and owner Kathy Spencer.  

THE WINNINGEST COCKER EVER

2011’s Number One Dog All Breeds has reached another milestone in his storied career.  The Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, received his 107th BIS today at today’s Beckley West Virginia Kennel Club show in Lewisburg WV, breaking the breed record set in the mid 90s by the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH La Shay’s Bart Simpson.  

Sharing David Bolus’ final ring with Beckham & handler Michael Pitts were the Otterhound, CH Corcragael Frazer Nash, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Tovik s Pretty Fly For A White Guy, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval’s Angel Whisper, the Pekingese, GCH CH Oaklhill’s Two Times the Dragon, the Schipperke, GCH CH Aned’s Guillame, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Dalarno Nite Song at Morningstar.  

We deemed Beckham a DOG2WATCH back on January 15, 2010 when at  just 21 months of age, he picked up BACK2BACK BIS over Top Twenty dogs on the always competitive Florida circuit.  Since then we have seen Beckham and handlers Linda & Michael Pitts post several memorable wins including consecutive wins at the 2010 & 2011 American Spaniel Club national specialties, consecutive wins at the American Spaniel Club Flushing Spaniel Show, 2010, 2011 and 2012, and Sporting Groups at the 2011 Westminster Kennel Club show & the 2011 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.   

Congratulations to breeder/owner Linda Moore, fellow owners Bruce Vandeman, Carolee Douglas, Mary Walker, & Cindy Cassidy, and handlers Michael & Linda Pitts.  Our thanks to them all for sharing with us “The Best Cocker Spaniel That Ever Was”.

HEART OF IOWA KC DAY ONE

Our next stop this morning is Marshalltown IA where the nation’s Number Three Dog All Breeds, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence,  added another BIS to his 2012 resume.  

The Heart of Iowa Kennel Club asked Roger Hartinger to choose the day one BIS from the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summits Emery It's In The Bag, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline's Oxford Victim Of Love, the Kuvasz, Tanner, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Dunham Lake Scout Master, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Symarun's Love T'Look, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Barnstorm’s Grissom TTCSI, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Frontier's License To Carry At Margaux.  Tanner and handler Diana Wilson now have seven all breed BIS this year.

DAY ONE IN BIRCH RUN MI

The all breed action got underway on Saturday in Birch Run MI with the first of  the Progressive Dog Club Of Wayne County’s two shows.  Lorraine Bisso selected her BIS from the English Setter, GCH CH Stargazr'n Wingfield Time Will Tell, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Tioka's American Ride, the Great Dane, CH Starz SVF Blaz'N Hot Spago Argento, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Bells Will be Ringing, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogel flight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.  

BIS went to the Wire on fire, Sky.  Sky and handler Gabriel Rangel have been relentless since the end of February.  Last week, she joined the Top Ten Dogs with her sixth BIS of the year.  We will wait until all the results to see if her seventh will move her up.

FOR ST CLAIR KC DAY ONE

GCH CH Fabelhaft Robobull Johnny Cash  

Several of our top dogs are in Eaton OH for the Fort St Clair Kennel Club’s two shows.  Yesterday the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Be Nice To Me, the Boxer, GCH CH Ho-Pa’s Grand Slam, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J'Cobe Broxden Danea, the Silky Terrier, CH Musicale's Making A Joyful Noise, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Fabelhaft Robobull Johnny Cash, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra, all sought BIS judge Jean Fournier’s approval.  

The one she liked was the Frenchie, Johnnie.  It’s the second this year and second this month for the 11 month old prodigy.

Down in the Sunshine State, Sonny Ambrosio had the final at the day one show of the Treasure Coast Kennel Club Of Florida.  The seven who made it to his final were the Golden Retriever,  Treasure Coast Kennel Club Of Florida, the Whippet, GCH CH Karasar's Remembrence, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Of Skyeline Captain Hook, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla's Small Kraft Re-Lit, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus. 

His Best was the Doberman, Jackson, Jackson has been burning it up all along the eastern seaboard lately with six BIS this year, four this month!  Why have we waited so long to make this one a DOG2WATCH?

After taking Saturday evening off for a pleasant evening in small town America, we are back to bring you yesterday’s results.  We will start in New England with the South County Kennel Club’s show in Richmond RI.  Christine Calcinari‘s final line up included the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop's Riley On Fire, the Longhaired dachshund, CH Aviance Solo's He's The One SL, the Dogue de Bordeaux, GCH CH Mount Sinai's Crusader St Amand, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me A Spot, the Havanese, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Qbin Who’s On First, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Firetown's Out Of The Blue, and the Rough Collie, CH Milas Latin Jazz.  

The Lakeland, Spot, went back to the RV with the big rosette, his fourth of the year.  Spot is the country’s Number One Lakie (all breeds) and the Number Five Terrier, with 20 Terrier Groups to his credit.
