PWD MARCHES TO WESTMINSTER

GCH CH Clair Creek’s Impression de Matisse

The Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Clair Creek’s Impression de Matisse, continued his march to Madison Square Garden, collecting another BIS at Sunday’s Lawrenceville Kennel Club show in Atlanta GA.

Joining Matisse and handler Michael Scott in judge Robert Stein’s final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH  Ashdown’s Time To Thrill, the Afghan Hound, CH Regimes Thriller Of Elmo, judge Stein’s RBIS, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, the Pug, GCH CH Caper’s Sirius Endeavor, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Shine’s Deck the Hall, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Wolf Creek’s Galaxy of Merivern.

Matisse finished last year with more BIS (94) than any other dog and the highest winning percentage (69 percent) of any dog during the last decade.   So far this year he has picked up 13BIS, two RBIS, and a Group Two in 16 shows, winning a remarkable 87 percent of the finals.  Needless to say Matisse is one of the favorites next week at the Westminster Kennel Club show.
