MONDAY MORNING MOP UP

GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse

Our Monday Morning Mop Up begins with the end of a winning streak.  The nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse was in Topsfield MA this weekend to work on his ten show winning streak.  As we told you here, Matisse and handler Michael Scott picked up their eleventh consecutive BIS at Friday’s North Shore Kennel Club show.

GCH CH Greyhaven This Rough Magic SC,

At Saturday’s NSKC day two show Matisse would be the first choice of judge Ed Hall.  Judge Hall would also like the Borzoi, GCH CH Greyhaven This Rough Magic SC, for her Reserve.  Rounding out the final were the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Sandscape Pardon Me Boys, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me a Spot, the Havanese, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Qbin Who’s On First, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Rinchen’s Blazing Black Icon, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Dunhill Celebration.  Matisse’s winning streak would end at twelve, bringing his 2013 BIS total to 34, the most of any dog this year.

GCH CH Bella Ridge Imperiale Shady Harbor Mafia Campcovo

Sunday Matisse would accept the RBIS from judge Peggy Lloyd and watch the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bella Ridge Imperiale Shady Harbor Mafia Campcovo, pick up the BIS.  Also under consideration were the previously seen Borzoi, Lakeland, & Beardie, the Pointer, GCH CH Seasyde Berries Jubilee JH, and the Long Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Matriart LG Muffin.  We haven’t seen much of Mafia since last year when he had one BIS and fourteen Non-Sporting Groups.  This is his first BIS of the 2013. Congratulations to breeder/owner Lorene Schettino, co-breeders Dr David & Jill Neidig, Juanita & Vincent Imperiale, & Vincent Schettino, and owners Billy Covalucci & Jill Neidig.
