Judge Kim Brinker had over 200 IGs in the regular classes, including more than 50 specials.  Her BISS was the 13 month old dog, CH Voici Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire.  We hope to be seeing “Stormie” at the front of the line in Toy Groups soon.  Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Layle Griffioen Echols.

PAN HANDLE KC OF TEXAS

GCH CH Enchanted's American Thunder

Amarillo TX is a ways from anywhere else, situated on I-40 half way in between Albuquerque NM & Oklahoma City OK.  However, we do think they could get their results out in less than six days.  I think they did better than that when the Pony Express was in charge.

FIND A SHOW CLOSE TO YOU

Mt Helena Montana
We are back to a somewhat abbreviated show schedule this week with just 27 all breed shows in twelve locations.  However, they are more evenly disbursed that in some weeks and  most of us will be within a tank of gas to a show.

Our sole New England offering is the Northwestern Connecticut Dog Club in Goshen CT.  Also in the Northeast is the Valley Forge Kennel Club’s two shows in Kimberton PA.  Floridians will have an at home weekend in Deland FL with the West Volusia Kennel Club.

We have far fewer shows across the Great Lakes region this week.  You options are the Butler County Kennel Club’s two shows in Prospect PA, the hometown Kennel Club Of Columbus, Indiana duo, and the Sheboygan Kennel Club’s weekend in Plymouth WI.

Reliable Purina Farms in Gray Summit MO will be the site of the St. Louis Dog Breeders Association, the Spirit Of The Heartland Kennel Club, & the Jefferson County Kennel Club Of Missouri three shows.  Heart Of The Plains Kennel Club will ante four starting Thursday in Lubbock TX.

The Mountain Time Zone joins the fray with two in Aurora CO courtesy of the Arapahoe Kennel Club and in Helena MT where the Gallatin Dog Club and the Helena Montana Kennel Club will team for four shows beginning Thursday.

Our West Coast offerings are two with the Gig Harbor Kennel Club in Shelton WA and two in the Southern California community of Cerritos with the Santa Ana Valley Kennel Club.

We think wherever you go this week, the odds of you being charmed and amazed at an AKC show are pretty good.
