YOSEMITE KENNEL CLUB DAY ONE


GCH CH Summit’s Emery It’s in the Bag  

Our last report of the evening comes in from Merced CA and the Yosemite Kennel Club.  Jon Cole’s lineup included the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summit’s Emery It’s in the Bag, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Blossomhill’s Hello Dolly, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Catanya’s Latin Lover, the Airedale Terrier, CH Penaire’s Chip Leader at Longvue, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Chase What Matters, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay Power & Privilege, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar.  It was the Golden, Chloe, picking up her third BIS of the year.

VALLEY CENTER KS DAY TWO

As we continue westward, we stop in Valley Center KS where the action has been fast & furious.  The final at today’s Wichita Kennel club show fell to Judy Webb to decide among the Brittany, GCH CH Trio's Mr. Rocktober, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Faouziah's Faramir, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J’Cobe Broxden Danea, the Pomeranian, CH MC's Cool J Shadow, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje's Jethrene Bodine, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra.  

She decided on the winningest Kuvasz in history, Tanner.  Tanner started the week as the Number Two Working Dog and the Number Three Dog All Breeds.  We’re not sure how close his sixth BIS will put him to Number Two, but we do know that you will read about it first on Dog Show Poop.

SAGINAW VALLEY KENNEL CLUB 1

GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici 

Our Number One Dog All Breeds, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, was out protecting her top billing today, adding another BIS to her 2012 resume.  Today’s win came at the day one show of the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club in Birch Run MI.

Joining FiFi and breed/owner/handler Jocelyn Mullins in Jim Reynold's final were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Northwind’s First Reign, the Basenji, GCH CH Klassic’s Slam Dunk, the Airedale Terrier, CH Bleu By You, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Bells Will Be Ringing, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Hatch Tillie de la Salsa.  FiFi is a girl on a mission with 11 BIS this year, five in the last three weeks.

GREATER ORANGE PARK DOG CLUB 1

GCH CH D’s Remember When  

The Greater Orange Park Dog Club asked Jane Roppolo to choose a Best In Show for their first of two shows in Elkton FL this weekend..  The seven she saw were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Harrier, GCH CH Tallyho The Time of My Life, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH LBK's Petal to the Metal, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Bayshore Georgio Armani, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmake Rumpus Bumpus.   

Her BIS was the Doberman, Jackson.  It’s the third BIS & ninth Working Group this year for Jackson & handler Gwen DeMilta.

TROY KENNEL CLUB

John Ronald was in West Springfield MA today to call the Best In Show for the Troy Kennel Club.  He considered the Labrador Retriever, GCH CH Casbar’s Hart to Hart, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Snoopi Friends in Low Places MLH, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH Windover’s Hey There Handsome, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me a Spot, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Sakura, the Miniature Poodle, GCH CH Surrey Sugar Baby, and the Puli, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Twist and Shout.  

He chose the Miniature Poodle, Sugar Baby, as his BIS.  She is the Number One Miniature Poodle & the Number Four Non-Sporting Dog with three BIS & 17 Non-Sporting Group top prizes.

SHENANDOAH VALLEY KC 1

GCH CH Tango's A Perfect Present for the Dulins  

Next we go to the day one show of the Shenandoah Valley Kennel Club in Harrisonburg VA.  Sam Houston McDonald gathered the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH O Charida’s Remember Fu Manchu JH, the Borzoi, GCH CH Raynbo’s Run for the Roses, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Marywyck Thief Of Hearts, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe v Tani Kazari, the Bulldog, GCH CH Tango's A Perfect Present for the Dulins, and the Bearded Collie, CH Briarpatch Just One Look.  

His Best was the Bulldog, Blitz.  It’s the first BIS for the 15 month old dog.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Millie Watkins, co-breeder Brian Holmes, and owners Martin Dulin & Janet Dulin.

PIEDMONT KENNEL CLUB 1

Our first report for today comes in from Charlotte NC and the Piedmont Kennel Club.  Bettyann Hale had the option of the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH, the 13" Beagle, GCH CH Lanbur Quest for the Best, the Newfoundland, GCH CH Cypress Bay JL Snazzy Story At Avalon Bey, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Fortune in My Eyes, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Integra’s Masquerade Party, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Fantatico da Maya, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Myshara’s Dancing Queen.

Best was the Newfie, Snazzy.  It’s the first BIS this year for the 2012 Westminster Kennel Club breed winner.  Congratualtions to breeder/owner Debra Thornton and owners Laura Rader & Julie Fitser.

GLENDALE AZ DAY ONE

Patti Long Smith had the first final in Glendale AZ where the Kachina Kennel Club kicked off a four day stop.  The first seven dogs to make it all the way were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s rpsnorter Silver Charm, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Boxer, GCH CH  R and G’s Mystical Dancer, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Dejavu I Want'a Talk About Me, the Schipperke, GCH CH Dante Fire When Ready HOF, and  the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Grandgables Let’s Show Off.  

Day one went to the Boxer, Danny.  Danny finished last week as the Number One Boxer, the Number Three Working Dog, & the Number 12 Dog All Breeds with two BIS & ten Working Groups.  Will BIS number give us three working Dogs in the Top Ten.  You will read it about it first here on Dog Show Poop.

VALLEY CENTER KS DAY ONE

Several of our Top Dogs were in Valley Center KS today for the day one show of the Salina Kennel Club, the first of for shows at the site this weekend.  Today’s final was called by Bonnie Clarke whose BIS line up consisted of the Vizsla, Renaissance Pink Chacha, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria's Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine's Ring Of Fire, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Folklore Celtic Crossfire Trail, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Rocheuses Me and My Shadow of Cornus.  

Picking up her 70th all breed Best In Show was the winningest Whippet in history, Chanel.  Chanel has been shown infrequently this year, but still has two BIS & 15 Hound Groups and a Top Twenty All Breed ranking.

CLAREMORE KC OF OKLAHOMA

The last remaining results from this past weekend are now in and we can tell you that Edd Bivin’s BIS at the Saturday  show of the Claremore Kennel Club of Oklahoma was the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful.  Maya’s fellow finalists were the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Cajun’s A Change is Gonna Come, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Faouziah’s Faramir, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor High Flyin’ Gladiator, Brussels Griffon, CH Endor and Donandru’s New Moon, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Lionheart’s Thumbs Up!, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s tails of Mystery.  It was the second BIS and the 11th Terrier Group this year for Maya and breeder/owner/handler Karen Fitzpatrick.   Team Maya includes owners Kiki Courtelis, Karen Fitzpatrick, Joyce Wilkinson and David Fitzpatrick DVM.  Congratulations to them all.

GCH CH FeiLong by WooWoo Oh No It’s Opal  

Maya & Karen would pick up Terrier Group number 12 on Sunday, facing the same Pharaoh Hound, Rottie, & Frenchie, as well as the Pointer, GCH CH Penpoint Honor Abracadabra, the Pug, GCH CH FeiLong by WooWoo Oh No It’s Opal, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Grandgables Jolie Victor Ludorum.   Charlotte Patterson’s Best was the Pug, Opal.  It’s the first BIS for Opal and handler Dana Bryson.  Congratulations to Dana, breeders Chase Harpole & Joy & Gary Kupp, and owners Kiki Courtelis & Chase & Kim Harpole.

KERN COUNTY KENNEL CLUB

Our final report of the day comes in from California Central Valley town of Bakersfield.  With easy I-5 access the Kern County Kennel Club’s two shows  drew dogs from up and down the West Coast.  However, it was a dog that lives a leisurely 90 miles away that made the most of the weekend.  The Brittany, GCH CH Britt's Ramblin The Perfect Cut took home both the big rosettes from the weekend.

Joining the two year old  bitch in Dr Wanda Spediaccit’s final on Saturday were he 15” Beagle GCH CH Cabaret Come Chase The Dream, the Mastiff, GCH Lexington Divine's Put Me In Coach, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Chase What Matters, the Standard Poodle, Espee Big Drama, and the Bearded Collie, CH Wigglesworth Thriller.  

Sunday She would please Dr Bernard Mcgivern Jr more than did the Whippet, GCH CH Endeavor's White Roses On Nysa Hill, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Steinhaus Maxim Courage RN, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Hoorah Ferocious Gentleman Branch, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Tamarin Top Banana, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay’s Power & Privilege, or the previously mentioned Beardie.  

We are somewhat embarrassed to admit that this one has escaped our attention.  These are her first BIS & group wins of the year.  Now that she has the prefix “multi-BIS winning” in front of her name, we hope she will send us a photo.  Congratulations to breeder/owner & Jenelle Larson and co-breeders Sue Richards & Stephanie Kepler. 

CHINTIMINI KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Scylla’s Small Kraft Re-Lit 

Competition is always fierce in the Pacific Northwest and this weekend was no exception.  Sharon Newcomb capped the Chintimini Kennel Club’s day one show in Albany OR  choosing a Best In Show from the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Rush Hills River Road Payoff, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Bougaine Naughty N Lovely Alvin, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH Kingslynne Kimo NW Connection, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpines Highwayman, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla’s Small Kraft Re-Lit, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Susants On The Loose At Frontier.    

Her choice was the Maltese, Hank.  It’s the second of the year for Hank and breeder/owner/handler Tara Martin Rowell.  Hank was one of the dogs we featured in the Best In Show Daily article, Upwardly Mobile Dogs, about the fasting rising dogs in the Top 100 dogs All Breeds.

Kitty Steidel had the judges book on Sunday and her pick of the Spinoni Italiano, GCH CH Darby Canyon Mick Jagger, the same 13” Beagle, the Akita, GCH CH Torii Nos Uncommon Valore, the aforementioned Amstaff & Maltese, the Keeshond, GCH CH Summerwinds Rumor Has It, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Mariel’s Harvest Moon.  Her Best was the Beagle.  Alvin.  It’s the first AKC BIS for the Thai bred and owned three year old.  Our congratulations to breeder/owner Somvorn Adungchongruk and handler Bobby Ott.

SILVER STATE KENNEL CLUB

We continue out west to Boulder City NV for the Silver State Kennel club’s two shows. Helen Winski stein got things rolling with the English Setter, GCH CH Oakley’s B’Dazzled, the Harrier, GCH CH down-home Hitech innovator, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Angranian Derry Mucker, the Pug, GCH CH Winsome Nirvana Blaque Triple Play, the Bulldog, GCH CH Yeager’s Paxton Peer of Camelot, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Coventry Allure at Wyndstar. 

 Day one went to the English Setter, Dazzle. Dazzle has been in the Top Ten All Breeds since the first weekend of the year when she won the day one show of the Kennel Club of Palm Springs . We will have to wait until the weekend’s numbers are all in to see if Dazzle moves up from her current Number Ten ranking. 

GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence 

Six of Saturday’s finalists would stay all day Sunday to see Eva Berg. They would be joined by the Boston Terrier, Campbell Clan’s Idol Chatter. Her BIS would be the top winning Kuvasz in history, Tanner. Tanner is currently the Number Two Working Dog and the Number Three Dog All Breeds with five BIS, three in the last ten days.

BRAZOS VALLEY KC DAY TWO

At the other end of the Great Plains was the Brazos Valley Kennel Club with this from their day two show in Navasota TX.  Candace Way’s final included the Vizsla, GCH CH Regal Point Pinnacle Of Kilauea JH, the Saluki, GCH CH Bay Watch Babe Von Agrani, the Samoyed, GCH CH Polar Mist Cruz'n T'Party At Zamosky, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Fortune Forward, the Maltese, GCH CH Chrisman's Shiny Toy Gun, the Bichon Frise, High Ridge Shinning Star, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Karousel’s Kartwheeles. 

Her BIS was the Sammie, Cruz.  It was the first for Cruz and handler Robert M Chaffin.  Cheers to Robert breeder/owner Lynette Blue, and owner Evy Widjaja.

SCOTTSBLUFF KENNEL CLUB

We had a busy day in the Great Plains states this week.  It all started in Mitchell NE where the Scottsbluff Kennel Club made a long weekend of it with three all breed shows.  James Fredericksen’s final line up on Friday included the Welsh Springer Spaniel, GCH CCH Royaile Rocksprings Dafydd, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse, the Mastiff, CH Brite Star Patronus, the Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Home Brew Page Three Girl RN, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Bar-None Fabulosity, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Shoreland’s Not A Gamble. 

Taking home the set’s first big rosette was the Cavalier, Teddy.  It’s the second of the year for Teddy and handler Clint Livingston.  Both wins have come in the last 30 days.

Saturday Norm Kenney would see the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Scion’s Hot Pants RN, the above named PBGV, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Gallant’s First and Foremost V Ciden, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Chyscott’s Making an Entrance, the aforementioned Cavalier, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Barnstorm’s Grissom TTCSI, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Thunderhill’s Apple Bottom Jeans.   

Best was the Sheltie, Bindi.  We first took notice of this girl back in 2010 when she won her first BIS.  We hope we see more of her this year.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Michelle & Marty Miller and owner Ann Power.  

GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse 

Roger Hartinger wrapped it up with the Brittany, GCH CH Trio’s Mr Rocktober, and the previously seen PBGV, Doberman, Staffy Bull, Cavalier, Tibetan Terrier, and Sheltie.  Third time was a charm for the PBGV, Fabio.  It’s the first this year for Fabio and owner/handler Juli Lacey-Black.  Our congratulations to Juli, breeders/owners Linda & Jenna Skerrit, and owners Donna Bruce & Jill Neuschaefer. 

PACKERLAND KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction   

One of the dog world’s super stars, the reigning AKC/Eukanuba National Champion, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction was in Manitowoc WI to pick up both of the big rosettes at the Packerland Kennel Club’s two shows.

Joining London and handler Ann Rairigh in Gary Bassett’s final on Saturday were the American Water Spaniel, GCH CH Water Way Game CRK Hot Diggity, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Sail Away Root Beer Float, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH SnT's Secret Weapon, the Papillon, GCH CH Wingssong Rock Star, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Highcroft Bourne Supremacy. 

Sunday it was London and judge Karen Dumke with the same Water Spaniel & Basset Hound, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Francesca's House Of Blues, the Norfolk Terrier, CH Max-Well's Diamond Thief, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Knolland Amber Moon, and the Briard, CH Deja Vu Pomme Despair Came Knocking.

London is the Number One Non-Sporting Dog in the US.  We will have to wait for the final numbers to see if these two wins moves London up from his current position as the nation’s Number Eight Dog All Breeds.

CLINTON IOWA KENNEL CLUB

We’re off to the Midwest to tell you about the Clinton Iowa Kennel Club’s to shows in De Witt IA.  Saturday’s event ended with Patti Widick Neale considering the Labrador Retriever, CH Briarwood's Eye On The Prize, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kelly Mt Diamonds Are Forever, the Boxer, CH Adellin's Nantess Look At Mimi, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Glaurieus Top Super Mod Elle, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Tradewind Amazing Grace, the Dalmatian, CH Diamond C'ya At The Finishline CD., and the Border Collie, GCH CH Sporting Field's Heiress HSAS.   

Her Best In Show was the Border Collie, Heiress.  Heiress is America’s Number One Border Collie with two all breed BIS and five Herding Groups.  

 GCH CH Aerden's Pretty In Pink JH

On Snday Sr Edna Martin would see a mostly new severn, the English Setter, GCH CH Aerden's Pretty In Pink JH, the above named Foxhound, the Boxer, CH Adellin's Nantess Look At Mimi, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Major League's Silver Sluger, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Loujon Thornwood Little Jacob, the Dalmatian, CH Diamond C'Ya At The Finishline CD, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra.   

Best went to the English Setter, KiKi.  It was just last weekend that KiKi picked up her very first all breed Best. Our congratulations to breeders/owners Laurie Engle & Rose Miller, and  handler Vito Ciaravino.

TWO DAYS IN NEWNAN GA

The place to be in the South this weekend was Newnan GA where the Newnan Kennel Club & the Douglasville Kennel Club Of Georgia set up for two days.

Saturday Robert Vandiver had the final for the NKC and his pick of the Brittany, GCH CH Dual Lanes Cam , the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Roccridges Heart Of Texas, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Trillium Blues Raising The Bar, the Skye Terrier, CH Of Skyline Captain Hook, the Papillon, GCH CH Fenice Le Beaudreaux, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog Bayous The Warrior, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Lin-Kel Nanteos Delwen.

He chose the Siberian, Jerry.  It’s the second all breed Best of the year for Jerry and handler Charles Coomes.

GCH CH Longo Miller N Lore Diamond Lil  

Sunday fell to Gene Blake to decide a BIS for the DKCG.  His options were the Brittany, CH Dual Lanes Cam , the Afghan Hound, CH Criston‘s Enchanted, the Great Dane, GCH CH Longo Miller N Lore Diamond Lil, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Connacht A Ha'Penny Will Do , the Pekingese, GCH CH Benaires N'Elphasuns Razzmatazz, the aforementioned Frenchie, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Warwicks Le Cofrdon Bleu Poet.

His best was the magnificent black Dane, Scout.  It’s the second of the year for scout and her second in the last two weeks.  With a head piece like that and a head of steam going into the spring, we think Scout is a DOG2WATCH.

CONCORD NC DAY FOUR

On Sunday it was Robert Black in for the Salisbury North Carolina Kennel Club.  His super seven were the English Setter, , the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara, the Samoyed, GCH CH White Magic Seasoned Traveler, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Shaireab’s Bayleigh Maid of Honor, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Krissy’s Sassy Jasper, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Fantastico da Maya, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.

Picking up the back2back BIS was the English Setter.  These are his first two AKC BIS.

WESTERN PA KENNEL ASSOCIATION 2

Some of the dogs that started the week in Syracuse headed to Monroeville PA for the Western Pennsylvania Kennel Association’s two shows this weekend.  You can read about Saturday’s event here.

Sunday Lenora Riddle gathered the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Gemdach's Red Rocker, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Lil'ltch Wedigit Pretty Boy Floyd, the Havanese, GCH CH Qbin’s Strictly Confidential At Enginuity, the French Bulldog, CH Fablehaft Robobull Johnny Cash, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Majestic Avatar Strom Warning.

 It was the 10 month old Frenchie, Johnny, picking up his first all breed Best.  This wunderkind, another great Frenchie from James Dalton & Shelley St John of Fabelehaft French Bulldogs, finished his championship at an incredible eight months with multiple group placements.  Congratulations to breeder, owner James Dalton, co-breeders Stephen Miller & Robert Smith, owners Dr Ken & Lucy Parshauer, and handler  Joe T Caton.

GCH CH Spotlights Ruffian  

We are going to get an early start on our Monday Morning Mop Up today.  We have a lot of ground to cover, so get another cup of coffee and join us.  We start in Syracuse NY where we had the largest numbers of the week.  Check our archives for reports on Thursday’s North Country Kennel Club and Friday’s Central New York Kennel Club.  

On Saturday, Randy Garren’s final featured the Labrador Retriever, CH Viking Hil'Die Tanzbarin MH RN, the American Foxhound  Kiarry's Pandora's Box, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D's Remember When, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotlights Ruffian, and the German Shepherd Dog, Signature's Philip Marlow V Kridler.  

He chose the Dal, Ian, as his Best.  It’s the first BIS of the year for Ian and handler Michael Scott in 14 final appearances (We love persistence!).  Congratulations to Michael, breeder Connie Wagner, and owners Jim Lyons & Barbara Lyons.

Sunday Ian and the above named Lab, Foxhound, Affenpinscher, & Shepherd would be back to see judge Michele Billings.  Rounding out the final were the Akita, GCH CH Hikay's Witch With An Attitude, and the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me A Spot.  Her BIS was the GSD, Tor.  American bred Tor is a Canadian resident and is just beginning his AKC show career.  Congratulations to breeders Joe & L Beccia & Tari Kridler, owner Fay Brugger, and handler Emily Burdon.

CONCORD NC DAY THREE

Before we get into today’s results we have lots of results to share from Saturday’s shows.  First, from Concord NC we hear that the English setter, GCH CH Stargaz’R ‘N Winfield Time Will Tell, was Dr Daniel Fleitas’ BIS at the Greater Monroe Kennel Club show.  

Dr Fleitas might have chose the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara, the Samoyed, GCH CH White Magic’s Seasoned Traveler, the Border Terrier, GCH CH High gate & the Ark Rejoice, the Maltese, GCH CH Richelieu’s Here Comes the Trouble Again, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Fantastico da Maya, or the German Shepherd Dong, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch, but he didn’t.  

We are not surprised to see this three year old pick up his first all breed Best.  We got a good look at him when we were in Louisville as he won the breed all four days.  Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Eileen Hackett, co-breeders, Patricia Skol, Lois Biedron, & Kathy Hanlon, and owners Don & Pat Coller.
