RAPID CITY KC DAY TWO

Our last stop of the evening is in Rapid City SD where the hometown Rapid City Kennel Club completed the second day of their three day set.

Day two finalists were the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Silverhall Right As Rain, the Pharaoh Hound, Mia's Bakhu Risky Business Of Hallam, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding V Sole Baye, the King Charles & Ruby English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO Prosperity, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje’s Jethrene Bodine, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Lonestar Margarita Rose.

Judy Webb’s top two were her BIS, the Toy Spaniel, Prosperity, and the RBIS, the Shar-Pei, Jethrene.    It’s the first BIS for the not yet three year old.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Mark A Landers, owner Ray J Cole, and handler Jeff L Wright.

The Bell County Kennel Club took over on day three in Belton TX and put John Booth in the final ring with the Brittany, GCH CH Dual Lane's Cam JH, the Bloodhound, CH Flessner's International Space Station At Honi, the Mastiff, CH Lazy D's Charmed N Dangerous, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Rockyhill Icees Raisin' The Bar, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Everafter's Best Bet Yet, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hills Money Talks.

Repeating their wins from yesterday were the Aussie, Cash, with the Reserve and the Poodle, London, with the BIS.  We will wait until the final weekend numbers come in to tell you if London’s  32nd big rosette will move him up in the rankings.

GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire

The Albany Kennel Club asked David Kirkland to take the day two final in West Springfield MA.  His seven supplicants were the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Exlysta Reflects The Sky, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, GCH CH Pennylane Professor Hill, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me A Spot, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Sakura, the Tibetan Spaniel, GCH CH Kan Sing Tenzin, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Dunhill Celebration.

His Reserve winner was the Tibetan Spaniel, Tenzin, and his Best was the IWS, Riley.  The country’s Number One Irish Water Spaniel has seven BIS in 29 final appearances this year.

GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch

Our Number Two Dog, the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, was in point rich Atlanta GA for the hometown Atlanta Kennel Club’s show today.   Peyton and Robin Novack joined Dr J Donald Jones along with the Borzoi, CH Majenkir Bookstore Glamour Girl, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Blackhawk Finnegan's Wake, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Gordon's Bite Of The Apple, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogelflight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch.

Taking home more than 1500 points was the GSD, Capi, while the Bichon, Honor, got the Reserve bragging rights.   The win, Capi’s 22nd of the year, will move him up one spot and make him the Number Twelve Dog All Breeds.

Our Number One Dog All Breeds, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, resurfaced in Springfield IL today to take home the BIS from the Sandemac Kennel Club’s show.  Taking the Reserve was the Standard Poodle, GCH Dawin Hearts On Fire.

Rounding out Debbie Campbell’s final were the  Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queens Amada SL, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Kenro’s Witching Hour, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Toy Manchester Terrier. GCH CH Cottage Lake Bela Horizonte, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Wyndlair Cherokee Vindication.

Oakley’s 58th BIS of the year assures that he will remain the Number One Dog All Breeds for another week.
