PLEASANTON CA DAY ONE

GCH CH Fortune’s All Eyez On Me

The big week in Pleasanton CA got underway today with the first of five days of shows, the day one show of the Skyline Dog Fanciers Of San Mateo County.

With more than 1700 dogs entered on a Thursday, the seven who made it to Clay Coady’s final were looking for a big point pay off.  They were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Tender Is The Night, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor Flirt's Hi Flyin' Gladiator, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steele Your Heart, the Pekingese, GCH CH Windemere's Dusting Of White At Pevyne, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Fortune’s All Eyez On Me, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Rainedance Written In Stone CD PT AX AXJ.

Taking home all those points was the Chow, Vanity.  It’s very rare that we see a BIS won by the smooth coat variety of the Chow Chow.  Without the profuse coat of the more popular rough coat variety, the dog can hide no flaws.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Michael Heldt & Kenneth Wronski on Vanity’s first all breed Best.
