Elk City OK is on Interstate 40, one of the main freeways that runs from the West Cost to the East.  Making a stop in the tiny town this week for the West Central Oklahoma Kennel Club four all breed shows was the California based Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steel Your Heart.  Eira and handler Gabriel Rangel picked up three of the four big rosettes on their way east to Pennsylvania and October’s Terrier Super Bowl, the Montgomery County Kennel Club show.   Check out the results of Thursday’s and Friday’s shows here & here.

On Saturday, Eira and Gabriel were challenged in Peggy Haas’ final ring by the Irish Setter, GCH CH Herihunda's Table For One, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate's As You Like It, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the Papillon, GCH CH Copella's Rising Attraction, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Chaoyang Chick Magnet At Asia, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Milkyway’s How Do You Like Me Now.

Sunday Lowell Davis chose Eira over the Pointer, GCH CH Chesterhope Sharp As, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Nordpol's Saturday Night Fever, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Escada's Fiery One RN, the Finnish Spitz, CH Finkkila's Nalle Poike, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Briarbrooks Copyright ROM3.

With eight of their ten BIS coming within the last few months, Eira & Gabriel have the momentum going into next month's Terrier focused shows.
