REGION THREE REPORT, #2

One place in Region Three that we have not visited is Marshall MI where they had a three day weekend.

CH Ayrwen Star Kissed Delight

On Friday, it was the Holland Michigan Kennel Club hosting and Kent Delaney judging BIS. He was able to choose from the English Setter, CH Palisades Silouehette, the Afghan Hound, CH Gengala Nobody Bizness, the Great Dane, Ch.Elan's Command Decision Reimroc, the Border Terrier, CH Tyrolian Eight Belles At Meadowlake, the Smooth Chihuahua, CH Ayrwen Star Kissed Delight, the Keeshond, CH Sprookje Lunar Appellation, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv's Daydream Believer.

The big trophy went to the small dog, the Chihuahua, number three this year for the nation’s number one Smooth Chihuahua.

CH Tyrolian Eight Belles At Meadowlake

The rest of the weekend belonged to the Battle Creek Kennel Club. Saturday it was Robert Frost’s turn at BIS. He was presented with the same Afghan, Border Terrier, Chihuahua, and Keeshond as well as the Spinone Italiano, CH Klondike's Frederico Ilario, the Newfoundland, CH Fairweather's Keepsake At Darbydale, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Thornapple Etched In Diamonds. Saturday, the big trophy went to the big dog, the Newfie, Xander. That’s two BIS in two weeks..and we are still waiting for a photo.

CH Sprookje Lunar Appellation

Sunday, Dr Steven Keating was in the final ring with the Keeshond, the Newfoundland, the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Star K's Mile High Dangerous Daphne, the Greyhound, CH Gaia Elfin Dance, the Border Terrier, CH Sirius's I Could Be At CB's, the Pomeranian, CH Velocity's Shake Ur Bon Bon, and the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Brandywine's Indelible Moment.

Third time’s a charm for the Kees, Merlot, as he took home his first BIS this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Sal & Melanie Sorice and co-breeder LaNora Madden. Now we are off to Region Four.
