We don’t usually start our weekends on Sunday, but that’s what they are doing in Columbus OH where Saturday was filled with a group of specialty shows and today the Central Ohio Kennel Club held the all breed show with Dr Eric Liebes doing the Best In Show duties.
His finalists were the Welsh Springer Spaniel, CH Stateman’s Winners Circle, the Afghan Hound, CH Agha Djari’s Revenge Of Xenos, the Alakan Malamute, CH CHNanuke’s Still The One, the West Highland White Terrier, CH Richmont, McClaren Lindores, the Silky Terrier, CH Shellkirk’s Joy To Shalee, the Keeshond, CH Daimler’s Caviar Dream, and the Belgian Sheepdog, CH Belroyales Midnight Rider.
We started the weekend with a BIS from a Malamute and asked why we don’t have more from the Nordic breeds. Well, we now have another one, this one from the number one Alaskan Malamute, Kimmy. The five year old bitch was bred by Sandra D'Andrea & Perry Hazelwood, and is owned by Sandra D'Andrea, Dr Stephen & Susan Rich, & Grant George. Congratulations to them all.
