Today we are going to visit a couple of “I” states, Indiana and Iowa to catch up on the action there.

First we go to Terre Haute IN where the hometown Terre Haute Kennel Club and the Bloomington Kennel Club combined for four shows April 18-21.    One dog, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse,  managed to sweep the stop, winning all four BIS.

On Thursday judge Peggy Hauck chose Matisse from a group that included the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, GCH CH Chesastar Hudson Bay RN, the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeens Under T, the Influence, the Russell Terrier, GCH CH Goldsands Columbus, the Pomeranian, CR Mini Cooper, her RBIS, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Glenleigh Gang's 'N Roses, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Live the Dream.

Debra Thornton would prefer Matisse on Friday to her RBIS, the Irish Wolfhound, GCH CH Ansa Mo Caoimhim Modigliani, the American Water Spaniel, GCH CH Waterway Game Crk Hot Diggity JH, the previously seen Russell Terrier, Bosse, the Maltese, CH Divine's Veni Vidi Vici, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East Do You Know The Way To San Jose, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Karmuns Clean Sweep.

Matisse and the four year old Wolfhound would repeat their wins, while the above named AWS, Pom, & Shar-Pei, the Colored Bull Terrier, CH Aragon's Ruffin It At Honeytree, and the Belgian Sheepdog, CH Sarron Simply Complicated, all tried to catch judge Richard William Powell’s eye.

The four wins give Matisse and handler Michael Scott 18 BIS this year, good enough to make Matisse the Number Two Dog all Breeds.
