THE FIRST ALL BREED OF THE YEAR

The Columbiana County Kennel Club held the country’s first all breed show of the year today in Tallmadge OH.  The seven hoping to be among the first to win a Best In Show this year were the Curly-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Down DaTrail Hunting Thrills CD, the 15” Beagle, CH Tashtins Lookin For Trouble, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Darwyn Esmeralda In Sanherpinc, the Japanese Chin, GCH CH Pem We-Syng Lucky Mi, the Schipperke, GCH CH Dante Fire When Ready HOF, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Grandgables The Frat Boy.

Loraine Boutwell’s BIS was the Sheltie, Brother, and her RBIS was the Chin, Mimi.  Brother was 2012’s Number One Shetland Sheepdog, with two BIS and 24 Herding Groups to his credit. Congratulations to breeders Guy Jeavons & Mark Houston-McMillan, owners Pamela Buckles, Andre Buckles & James Moses, and handler Sarah Karger Krickeberger.
