Taking home the last big rosette of the stop was the Whippet, Tawny, while the MinPin, Classie, picked up the Reserve ribbon.  Tawny has been among the Top Ten Hounds for the last four years and finished 2012 as the Number One Whippet and Number Six Hound with 10 BIS and 55 Group Ones.  Congratulations to breeder/owner  Dionne Butt, co-breeder Jesse Martin, owner Jane Cooney-Waterhouse, and handler Amanda Giles.

The reconstituted Florida circuit maintained its influence on the national rankings propelling the MinPin, Classie, and the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, into the Top Ten Dogs All Breeds.  Both will be among our picks for the upcominbg Westmisnter Kennel Club show in two weeks.  Look for our series Who To Watch at Wsetminster (WWW).
