We have more weekend results for you.  Fanciers were camped out at the Purina Farms Event Center in Gray Summit MO these past five days.  The all breed action started on Friday with the first of the Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club’s two shows.  Ann Hearn had the first final and the company of the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Saluki, GCH CH Shahtani Desert Moon DC SC, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful, the King Charles & Ruby English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO Prosperity, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Imagine Loves Second Chance, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Jolie Victor.

Day one went to the Springer, Peyton.  Peyton would also take Sunday’s Mississippi Valley Kennel Club show where Alan Ewles would pick Peyton out of a group that included the same Saluki, Doberman, & Border Terrier, the Chinese Crested, Silver Bluff Nothing Left To Chantz, the Chinese Shar-Pei, Nustar Dolly Pardon Me Boys, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Edens Crowns Designer Label.  Peyton and handler Robin Novack have been unstoppable lately, with five BIS in the last two weeks, bringing their 2012 total to 13 BIS.

Peyton would also appear Beverly Capstick’s final on Saturday with the Saluki, GCH CH Aurora’s The Song and Dance Man, the previously seen Doberman, Border Terrier, Chinese Crested, & Chow Chow, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Daybar Blew By U.  The day one BIS of the MVKC would go to the Doberman, FiFi.  FiFi and breeder/owner/handler Jocelyn Mullins are locked in a tight race for the Number Two spot with the Springer, Peyton.  Will FiFi’s 16th BIS of the season be good enough to hold onto the Number Two ranking?  We will have to wait a couple of days for the final numbers to be sure.

GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch

Linda More closed the set yesterday for the MVKC.  The seven who made the final final were the English Setter, GCH CH Stargazr’n Wingfields Time Will Tell, the Saluki, GCH CH Jamora Mystic Topaz JC, the Doberman, FiFi, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Merrygangs Wild N Crazy Guy OA OHA ME, the aforementioned Toy Spaniel, the Standard Poodle, CH Dawin Hearts On Fire, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch.

Best went to the Shepherd, Capi.  For the second year in a row, Capi is in a close race for Number One Herding Dog.  Check back with us in a couple of days and we will tell you who’s on top this week.
